The tech stuff all went over Allera’s head. They’d never been savvy with that kind of thing.

"That's why I said I could probably just make the ship invisible on all spectrums. It would be difficult, but I think I could manage it. Anyway, the point here isn't to get a surefire plan. We already know that there will be a good chance of getting detected somehow during this whole operation. I'm just trying to do what I can."

"The plan accounts for being detected in the first place. Even if we can disguise ourselves they'll notice a ship going missing, and unless we can disguise every signal including the light emitted from the ship itself, then they'll be able to find us."

Ayia took a little step closer to Allera. Hopefully that would help her feel a tad more comfortable.

We can worry about him - and you, if we have to - once we get through the portal." Ayia reached to pull the energy rifle off her shoulder, handing it to Allera. "Here. I take it you know how to shoot these things?"
