"A single-use all-purpose anti-exposure suit."

"Got it. Well, assuming we aren't thrusting at all, you don't need to worry about some sort of instability. You'd want a tether, though."

Well... if he doesn't have to breathe...

"Fine." Ayia stepped into the airlock, bringing out the end of her Line. "Allera! Imma go punch that javaksadoibr."

It was probably a regional swear that didn't translate well.

Variance walked into the airlock with her, glancing back at Allera and waving with a nervous smile.

Man Dr. Strohger was having a bad day.

on one hand, the annoying children who were busy swearing in a different langauge [this is aiya and variance @Channelknight Fadran] who he could hear through the tracker he placed on the ship. That was good.

What was not good was that the irriatating little girl was heading towards him in a single-use space suit. She had A BATON. WHY IN THE FATES DID SHE HAVE A WEAPON.

Dr. Strohger did want to make good impressions so he did not pull out a weapon.

Was that a mistake? It probably was.

After quickly telling silver NOT to anihliate the child he stepped outside the airlock [but still inside the ship] and waved at the kid in a friendly way.

Ayia took issue with being see as a child. She wasn't even sure where this impression came from.

[~I imagine Aiya as a spoiled 14 year old youngest in a family of 3]

The child did't respond but instead seemed to act annoyed.

Oh wait. that wasn't a child. Probably a teenager then. Dr. Strohger always thout that teenagers were very annoying. Most.

He mentally prepared an explanation for all this, then signaled for Aiya to open the airlock door thing.

And he prepared to be smited down.

Ayia, for the record, was in her late-ish twenties*.

A rather confused, twenties-ish*-year-old sort of lady. Was the guy who had just been shooting at them asking to be invited in?

She diffused the airlock, opened the door, then grabbed him by the throat to pull into the ship.

*Years, age conventions, and also numerical methods are completely different where she's from.

Was... the intruder trying to talk? In a vacuum?

Ayia shut the airlock and let the air flood back in. She kept her suit on for the time being - honestly, he could've at least been kind enough to let her hop out into open space for a minute to try and catch him.

"Who are you?" She demanded, once sound was capable of propagating.

The pesky annoying teenager spoke first for no reason. "Who are you?" She asked in a demanding tone.

Dr. Strohger replied, "I am Dr. Strohger. And if I may ask, who are you?"

"I tried to warn you, but you didn't have communicators." Strohger said. "It is after all, against the galactic space laws to not have a communator, so I assumed you were criminals, or space pirates."

"It was... Justified." Strohger said.

He wasn't completely right, but there was a lighter sentence on those who killed criminals.

"And I didn't attack your ship. That was silver."
