"I already shanked that guy, Nighthound." 

"Well, I want you to shank him again….wearing this." 

He couldn't see the outfit Nighthound presented to his captive, but judging by her shocked gasp, it wasn't exactly modest. "I'm not wearing that!" 

Nighthound stepped forward. He could picture the feral Epic leaning in close to Ray, looming over her. "You'll wear it or I'll tear your limbs off." 

That was his cue. Quick as lightning, the Unicyclist charged forward, cutting between Nighthound and Ray. Nighthound gave a cry of anger and tried to swipe him off his unicycle, but a blast of flame from his bagpipes made that an impossibility. 

"You….you saved me," Ray said when Nighthound fled in flames and tears. "No one's ever saved me before." 

The Unicyclist played her a flaming love song, drawing tears to her eyes.

 

 

I like it even better than Lightwards + Unicyclist (or "Light Side of the Force")

I wonder how Lightwards will react to this. He envisioned... a friendlier, more egalitarian approach to Epic recruitment. Collars and slaps are kind of the opposite of friendliness and egalitarianism.

Mr. Quickslide shot him several times in the chest and head. I believe the Emperor can be forgiven for that particular gruesome murder.

 

As for Ms. Hotwire... um, her shorts and tank top didn't match? The headdress made her look stupid?

 

All right, I give up. Lightwards just isn't a people person and probably won't lift a finger to improve Ray's condition.

By the way, I'm re-reading Steelheart at the moment and noticed that a powerful Epic named Snowfall is mentioned to live in Sacramento. What if we made a few references to odd changes in the weather every now and then, as a result of Snowfall's presumed weather manipulation?

That's fine, so long as he whispers it or in some other way guesses so it isn't overheard. I'm sure he'll be discovered eventually, but I'd rather it didn't happen right away.

CorpseMaker is planning on giving her Bionicles, The Justice League, And Lego's. I'll add in Transformers.

 

As for their state of Life. They're basiccly Lifeless from Warbreaker. If you don't tell them to Defend themselves, then Nighthound could tear a Platoon of them apart without one of them Disobeying their Previous Command.

 

They aren't Zombies though. They can be killed just like normal, Non-Hollywood Humans can be.
