Wits instant noodles he/him Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 this is a forum just to goof of with the ai chatGPT put the thing you asked first then what it replied ill go first I asked for a theory about the cosmere One of the major mysteries in the Cosmere is the identity and nature of the being known as "Adonalsium," who was shattered into sixteen shards that became the basis for the magic systems of various worlds. While we know that Hoid was present when Adonalsium was shattered, we don't yet know exactly what led to the event or why Hoid was there. My theory is that Adonalsium was not a single entity, but rather a collection of beings or forces that were merged together into one entity. The reason for this merging could have been a threat or danger to the universe that required these beings or forces to unite for the greater good. However, this merging could have also created a dangerous imbalance in the universe, which ultimately led to the shattering of Adonalsium. Hoid, who may have been one of the beings or forces that made up Adonalsium, could have been present at the shattering in an attempt to prevent or mitigate the damage that was being caused. This theory would help to explain why the shards of Adonalsium have such different personalities and motivations, as they would represent the individual aspects of the merged beings or forces that made up Adonalsium. It would also add an additional layer of complexity and depth to the Cosmere's mythology, and provide more insight into Hoid's motivations and actions throughout the various novels and stories in the Cosmere
Immortal Platypus Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 That is scarily well thought out for AI
ThroughTheLivingSequence she/her/they/them Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 Come up with a nonsensical Cosmere theory. Spoiler One nonsensical theory about the Cosmere is that all of the Shards are actually just different flavors of ice cream. The Shardholders are actually just ice cream vendors, and the more powerful the Shard, the more delicious and sought-after the flavor. For example, Odium's flavor would be a spicy, dark chocolate ice cream with chunks of red hot candy mixed in, while Preservation's flavor would be a creamy vanilla with a hint of lemon and blueberries. And of course, Harmony's flavor would be a combination of Preservation and Ruin, creating a sweet and salty caramel swirl. The battles between the Shards are actually just intense flavor wars, where each vendor is trying to prove that their flavor is the best. And the magic systems of the various worlds are just different techniques for creating and manipulating ice cream. This theory would explain why the characters in the Cosmere are always talking about "investiture" - they're really just talking about how much time and effort goes into crafting the perfect scoop of ice cream! I feel like I’ve seen this before but it was still funny! 2
chriskoch Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 The theory adds depth to the story and raises questions about Hoid's role in the events. It's always fascinating to see fans delve into the intricacies of fictional universes and create theories that expand upon the existing lore.
