First, you're not a shard. Second, though that is possible, it would be very difficult. Third, you would leave yourself open to attack from any other Shard, so you'd be Splintered by Odium (if you were really a shard).

EDIT: I read it slightly wrong, but my points still stand. It would just be slightly less difficult.
