So we know that there are many people in the cosmere who know a regrets deal about investiture, the prime people in question being the five scholars, kryss, hoid, rosharan scholars, and rosharan immortals.

However I was wondering and I don’t think anyone else has asked this question, but given how much more some people know about the cosmere than rosharans(who are so far very advanced as a people in knowledge of investiture and shards of not the cosmere as a whole)(maybe cosmere literate as opposed to knowledgeable) have any of these notable people previously made this discovery, and if so have they kept it under wraps?

I lean onto the idea that it’s been kept under wraps, because none of these individuals have any knowledge of anti-investiture yet.

I lean on the idea personally that they would have no knowledge and that this is a brand new discovery.

Totally speculation, but I would think that Kelsier/the Ghostbloods would at least theorize it's existence. Such a big part of allomancy is that each metal has a push and a pull; and with that knowledge applied to investiture, I could see Kel coming to the conclusion that anti-investiture would exist.

Based on what Khriss says, Navani is the first known person to actually discover it. We know this is wrong as Gavilar had access to it. The concept of Anti-Investiture has been at least theorized so I'd assume most Cosmere aware scholars from Silverlight would at least have been aware of the theory. But the knowledge to make it is probably very rare and kept secret so until RoW it was likely unknown to most

I would guess it is pretty much unknown. I think the shards might know or maybe even some dragons. I doubt any normal people would though. In almost every other world besides Roshar they aren't really focused on sound AFAIK and on top of that investure is expense and rare. Roshar is the only place investure is easy too obtain and experiment with. Even though seekers on Scadrial might be able to hear the rhythms and tones, there is no atrium or lerasium. I guess they could experiment with harmonium, but it seems that the current experiments with it are going in a different direction.

Well, Taldain and Sel both have large amounts of free Investiture, and given some comments one of the older Elantrians makes about "Pulse length" I think it's safe to say the IRE at least theorizes that it's possible.
