"I knew someone like that once," said Silver absently. "Draw, huh?"

He knew someone like that?

Also, yes. The remains of his little collage that depicted him exiting his bedroom window are still there, albeit scattered and trampled on.

"Yes, he's... frighteningly good at it. Always has been."

I do too, but that was the most fun I've had in quite some time. It's worth the lack of sleep. Besides, I can sleep in tomorrow.

Er... sort of. :P Mostly in the "know everything" sense. Though if you'd asked him, he wouldn't have been able to tell you why he said that.

"Dang," muttered Silver, looking over the illustration. "Wish I could draw like that."

Marilyn is still passed out on the other side of the portal. And Tacien is still unconscious while Gone, Silver and his brother (I keep forgetting how to spell it) talk in the one room.

Tacien stirred, and Cufre attention snapped to him. "Oh, thank goodness." The small boy as up, rubbing his head. He locked eyes with Silver, examining him intently.

Silver froze, meeting the boy's gaze. "Um. Hi."

Any details about Silver's past that he could draw, potentially?

Tacien carefully removed himself from his brother's arms and grabbed himself several pieces of paper and a pencil, somehow without losing eye contact with Silver.

He used to fight, but he never really wanted to. He always tried to stay out of battle when he could. He wields only a broken sword.

He has a friend of sorts- a knight in all black- who he somewhat fears and somewhat respects.

He has suffered a terrible loss in the past.

He is very afraid of being alone.

Silver shifted uncomfortably, his gaze flicking back and forth between the stares.

Tacien looked away and began drawing in minutes, he had completed a drawing that was a perfect depiction of a broken sword. He glanced at Silver for a moment before beggining to work on another.

Oh wait, literally draw.

Some other things he might see include: a small toy racecar, a discarded book, and a mug of hot chocolate.

Silver's eyes widened as he saw the drawing. He reached down to his side and pulled out the blade that Tacien had drawn, glancing back and forth between the picture and the reality.

What did you think it meant?

They were identical.

Tacien finished his second drawing, of a knight dressed in black. He stopped there, handing both to Silver.

We make no promises. I don't think Archivist ever sleeps, and I can go on very little. Plus, time zones!

Rayvyn knocks on the door to Cufre and Tacien's room.

Pull. As in "he drew information from the void/the source/whatever". Or: "Silver drew the blade Tacien had just drawn." (Glad I didn't go with that phrasing.)

Silver's eyes widened even further as he saw the second drawing. "Wow," he said in a hushed tone, running a finger over the drawing of the knight. "Even the spear..." He looked up. "You... know a lot of things, don't you?"

"It's me, Rayvyn," Rayvyn said, then realized she probably wouldn't be received well, considering she had attacked him last time she saw him.

Cufre tensed. "Why are you knocking?"

Tacien opened the door for her despite his brother's apprehension.

Rayvyn stood there awkwardly. "I'm sorry," she says. She squats to look Tacien in the eye. "You know that I never wanted to hurt you, don't you?"

Tacien looked at her dead in the eye, and he was angry.

"I was a fool to go along. I'm sorry I put you in danger." She nodded and turned to go. "Now that I know you're all right, I'll be going. I'll stay out of your way."

Silver took a step back, watching the conversation without saying a word.
