I love fluting!!! And I love color guard! What don't like is the rest of the sophomore flutes. But I love actually playing the flute.

I’m getting a new flute for Christmas and I’m so exciteddd!

One of the keys is sticking but the only way we've found so far makes other keys too loose.

And the audition for next year's band class is due Tuesday...

I tried to play jazz flute for a bit, but I got tired of all the flats  I like to listen to jazz, but I can’t wrap my head around all the syncopation and changes of time signature and the weird irregular time signatures. My brain doesn’t work like that, although I wish it did.

I did ANZCA - and played some jazz pieces for my grade 3 exam a couple years back. Kerin Baily, I believe. I think he wrote Scooby de Wap. The songs were Blue Mood and Moonlight Air - so technically jazz? I guess?

It's in the shop. And since I have no flute I can't do the audition yet. My director told me to get it done whenever I get my flute back.

Band is so boring without it though. I keep almost falling asleep.

Yes! They fixed some of the pads and corks too! Its some much better now!
