Soulscape...

Lerac was next to her, form glowing slightly with a healing warmth. "How do I share my emotions?"

"Focus on them." Wynn instructed. "Bring them to the surface of your mind."

TAAron's eyes widened, and he began to shake again. "I... I..."

one of the agents walked over and crouched down. “No worries. It’s all part of the arc. Do you want an escort somewhere?”

And that’s curtains :(

"Okay, I... What's that?" Lerac pointed at a form on the ground in the flowers. It looked like a body.

It really shouldn't have been predictable.

She frowned. "It's your mind. You tell me."

He approached it. "Oh. That's... unnerving."

Wynn came up behind him. "What is it?"

Predictable what?

It was Lerac's own body, chest torn open, just as TAAron's had been before he was revived.

Nevermind. I misread what you wrote.

Wynn looked at it, then back at Lerac. "What is this?"

"I have no idea. Let's just get on with this, alright?"

Wynn began feeling the first trickling of emotions. There was fear, loss, resignation.

"Is it working?"

The emotions came in like a torrent then.

There was a lot of the same bad things he had first shown up. Confusion, uncertainty, and even hatred, much of which was directed at his home world. These came in waves. They were the only ones Lerac saw.

But there was love, too. For nature, for the people he believed could never love him back. For her, especially.

Wynn let it all soak in. "Lerac," she said. "I could never hate you." Her eyes showed the truth.

"No." Her face showed no guile. "I am not."

I only use slang if the situation is dire. This is why it's so much better if your role-play character is a rabbit nobody cares about.

The vibrant color of the field seemed to fade away, as though they were and had always been an illusion. The field was replaced by an endless expanse of charred earth, as though it had been swept by fires long past.

You did already quote that, but I don't think I properly responded because I wanted to bring up that the agent's death shouldn't have been predictable to them.
