They’re known for keeping cool. ‘Show must go on’ and all that.

TAAron looked over at Haly. "I don't know..."

She shrugged, glancing at Lerac and Wynn. “I don’t know where we’re going next.”

”We’ll leave you alone, then?”

"I guess so. We need to wait for Lerac and Wynn to be done with whatever they're doing anyway." TAAron slumped down against a wall, staring forward, looing shaken.

Haly scooted over next to him. “It wasn’t your fault.”

"Yes it was. I accomplished nothing by killing her. I don't even know why I did it."

“That wasn’t you. I know you, and you would never do that. That was Malum, or something else. Not you.”

He fell, and his eyes moved to look at hers. However, they didn't regain the same lucidity. He just watched her from the ground, unmoving, except for a slight twitching.

She jumped up and ran over to Mitis. “Hey! What’s wrong with TAAron?”

She looked up from petting Shark. “Later. There’s a bunny here.”

Haly stomped her foot, then ran back. “Hey. Hey!”

Slowly, TAAron stood up, eyes lazily following hers.

He stumbled back, but didn't snap out of it. He walked up towards her until they were inches apart, still staring at her.

“You’re scaring me.” Her chest tightened. “What’s… who’s there?”

Without warning, he shoved her back, exactly as she had done to him a moment ago.

Slowly, the lucidity returned to his expression. He looked down at himself, then up at Haly, confused. "What happened?"

“I… you did it again! You zoned out, and I couldn’t wake you, and you shoved me.”

"I shoved you?" He was obviously perplexed. "I don't remember anything."
