Me too! My perception of him changed significantly as well, before I thought of him as “scary green mod admin guy” and now I think “Sanderson nerd.” Which happens to be how I think of almost everyone else (except @Ookla the Believer)

Don't. Unless it's really, really important.

Also, if you did, do not repeat that mistake twice.

Why, what will Chaos do to you? Well, nothing, really. He'll chastise you for pinging him for no reason, maybe get mildly irritated and ask you to not do this again. 

I still advice against pinging him for no reason (or too many times. It happened), since trying to annoy the head admin is kind of a bad idea. But Chaos is far less scary than you might think. Not that I have much experience, but that's the impression I got.

I really should stop commenting here, since I never tell anyone how I imagine them, but since I'm here... There was a time I thought Chaos' profile pic was Einstein, only green.

Yeah. Chaos isn't really that scary. If you're contacted by him and quoted by him at the same time, it's absolutely terrifying.

I would know-

He's scary, but way less scary than we like to pretend. It is fun to pretend, but he's a nerd like the rest of us.
