IlstrawberrySeed Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 It could be, or it could be ions, or it could be a similar spiritual or mental thing. I definitely think it is similar to Barvadium, but Autonomy calls trellium ‘Your metal’, so I have to think there is some slight differences at least. Also, how do we know that all the trellium spikes aren’t alloys with another metal, perhaps even atium?

Spectrograph would show two spikes, not one. Harmony would recognized Atium, and where did they get that Atium from?
IlstrawberrySeed Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 I doubt it was atium, but if a shardmetal's spectroscopy is max for all frequencies, and then off the charts for the attached color, then how would regular metals be noticed?

I don't remember how it was described in book, and I don't have book to check, but Spectrograph works by showing absorptions spikes. So spikes is the lack of light of specific frequency. So you have a light emitted/bounced by an object and you looks for absorptions spikes, which corresponds with atoms and molecules that absorbed that light. In case of godmetal alloy, you have one huge spike for godmetal, and smaller ones for specific metal. There could be multiple frequencies absorbed by one atom or molecule. Spoiler
