With barely even a few hundred people between the bulb fields and central village, it would take a miracle just to pass through without everyone recognizing you as an outsider and staring the whole way through. The local tavern knew who to call out to advertising a stay, and merchants always seemed to shout louder whenever outsiders drew near. Luckily for them, they knew what they were here for. Vance spent a good half an hour haggling over the week's pricing for a wagon and pack driver, coming out just about as cleanly as he could've hoped.
