I’ve read the Books of Bayern, but I didn’t finish Princess Academy. It just didn’t suck me in the first time. I’ll try sometime, though.

I am a fan of basically all her books. I had Goose Girl recommended to me for years before I got around to reading it and I couldn’t believe it took me so long to read it. I also am actually a big fan of how she talks about sexism in how we recommend literature. She has some great stuff out there about how we are doing our society a great disservice by telling boys that books with female main leads are only for girls. It makes me really want to work to be more representative in what I introduce to my kids. And definitely get my oldest reading her books since he is a big fantasy fan.

I've only read her graphic novel Real Friends, but it was amazing! I definitely plan to read the rest of her books as soon as I can get to them.

Perhaps I have an unpopular opinion, but I actually enjoyed Princess Academy more than the Books of Bayern. Both are very well done, though.
