Specific Rythms have shone to be able to affect Investiture, specifically the Lights, in a variety of ways.

My question is would it be possible to affect he Mists of Scadrial as well? Perhaps using the right Rythms might make the Mists able to be stored in Gemstones? Or perhaps make it coalesce into Lerasium?

Big leap in logic I know, but it has been confirmed that Rythms exist everywhere in the Cosmere and implied that Gemstones can store more types of Investiture than we've seen.

Any thoughts?

Maybe that’s what allomancers did when they used allomancy. They “hummed” the rhythm or at least close to it.
Also I think the mist are supposedly able to fill gem stones on scandrial but they barely do.
but my head cannon is that the mist would fill them up but only gemstones on roshar. That rosharin gemstones are uniquely designed to hold investiger. But I’m sure that their is a better theory like closeness to the SR and such.

My OCD couldn't take the amount of spelling errors, so I just had to fix them.

Anyway, I'll have to disagree with you because of a few WOBs I found concerning Polestones:

In Mistborn, Vin had a set of sapphire jewelry. If Demoux had brought those to Roshar, would they be infused by a highstorm?

Brandon Sanderson

Yes.

The gems on Roshar, are they the same as the gems you and me know, or are they a byproduct of Investiture?

Brandon Sanderson

For the most part they are the same as the gems we know, which will ask the question, "Since most of them are chemically identical, other than color, what differentiates them?" and in the cosmere, color is very important, so I'll just leave you at that, but most of them are going to be gems like we have. If you took a ruby from our world to Roshar, it could be Invested by the highstorm.

And I know that there's a few WOBs that help support my argument. I'll post the ones I find:

Could you have trapped the mists from Scadrial in a gemstone.

Brandon Sanderson

Theoretically possible.

Damn, I know that there's a WOB on how a gemstone can be infused with Investiture from any Perpendicularity, but I can't find it. So these'll have to do.
