I know it's not Brandon Sanderson, but: And Then There Were None by Agatha Christi Spoiler I called the murderer by going through all of the thoughts of the different characters and then matching it up to their speech patterns and things they say. Then I knew the murderer was the last person left. I'm still very proud of that.
