0 That1Cellist he/him Posted August 26, 2022 Report Share Posted August 26, 2022 We don't know what happens if a cognitive shadow dies, but my guess is that it either goes immediately to the beyond, or fades out like a normal person. The returned aren't really themselves, but investiture imitating that person and remembering them. (I think) When a returned give up their divine breath, they are no longer invested, and so die. My guess is that returned, at least, go directly to the beyond.
