Do you play an instrument Ta'veren Kaladin? *Evil laugh* I play *quickly counts* 3, plus I used to play Viola (thus my question) and I sing. I also like to mess around with other instruments and could easily learn to actually play them.

That1Cellist he/him Posted August 25, 2022 Author Posted August 25, 2022 (edited) Well, either way, who here takes private lessons? Edited August 25, 2022 by That1Cellist
Shining Silhouette he/him Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 I take a couple different private lessons, but I stopped taking cello last year to focus on my other music.
The Wandering Wizard he/him Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 I don't take private lessons. Does anyone else dislike three octave scales, on a stringed instrument?

Cool, I take private lessons for cello. I guess everyone probably assumed that, but still. Three octave scales are fun if you know thumb position Edited August 25, 2022 by That1Cellist

I've been practicing it for a while, but yeah it can be rough sometimes. It also really hurts at first.

Lego Mistborn he/him Posted August 28, 2022 Posted August 28, 2022 I do when I think of how much time has passed...
The Wandering Wizard he/him Posted September 10, 2022 Posted September 10, 2022 (edited) I have found it! @Shining Silhouette and @That1Cellist. Do you guys have good cello music this semester? Edited September 11, 2022 by The Wandering Wizard 1
Shining Silhouette he/him Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 Yes we do! We're playing classical music this semester for our concert, then we'll do the jazz/american music the next. It's going to be fun! I'm also playing the Borodin Quartet with a couple friends. What about you guys?
The Wandering Wizard he/him Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 1 minute ago, Shining Silhouette said: What about you guys? Beauty and the Beast, Romeo and Juliet, the overture to the messiah, and entrance and march of the guests from Taunnhauser. All have surprisingly good cello music and are really fun to play.
That1Cellist he/him Posted September 11, 2022 Author Posted September 11, 2022 My music is okay. It's basically the same as usual, but it's a bit more interesting at least. I'm in two different orchestras, so that helps. My solo stuff is, of course, the most interesting. I feel like I've improved a lot over the last month.
The Wandering Wizard he/him Posted September 15, 2022 Posted September 15, 2022 Hehe My orchestra teacher called the violin's flutes today.
