Wizard rolls a 16 for a charisma check, with proficiency bonuses it gets raised to 20. A hauntingly beautiful song serenades out from inside the room.

Oh, no. What have I accidentally created?

A group of string players have gotten together, and we're all basically bards anyway, in regards to musical ability.

Yes. Do you play an instrument Ta'veren Kaladin?

*Evil laugh* I play *quickly counts* 3, plus I used to play Viola (thus my question) and I sing. I also like to mess around with other instruments and could easily learn to actually play them.

Did you hear many violist jokes when you used to play?

I take a couple different private lessons, but I stopped taking cello last year to focus on my other music.

Cool, I take private lessons for cello. I guess everyone probably assumed that, but still.

Three octave scales are fun if you know thumb position

I did just learn the thumb position a few days ago, and they are easier that way, just not used to going that high yet.

I've been practicing it for a while, but yeah it can be rough sometimes. It also really hurts at first.

When I was playing cello a lot I got good calluses. But now I'm out of practice *facepalm*

Oh no! That's really sad. If I was a meaner person I would call that disgraceful.

Not a one. It was way back when I was in elementary school. *Existential crisis*

Even if you were a violist, you should not have a mental crisis when thinking about elementary school.

Yes we do! We're playing classical music this semester for our concert, then we'll do the jazz/american music the next. It's going to be fun!

I'm also playing the Borodin Quartet with a couple friends.

What about you guys?

Beauty and the Beast, Romeo and Juliet, the overture to the messiah, and entrance and march of the guests from Taunnhauser. All have surprisingly good cello music and are really fun to play.

My music is okay. It's basically the same as usual, but it's a bit more interesting at least. I'm in two different orchestras, so that helps. My solo stuff is, of course, the most interesting. I feel like I've improved a lot over the last month.

Hehe

My orchestra teacher called the violin's flutes today.

An honest mistake, hopefully. But one we will never forget.

It was an honest mistake. The violin's reaction was entertaining.

I bet they were mortified and greatly offended.
