Hi! I had just noticed there are quite a few string players on the shard, so I just thought I would make a place where we can all talk about orchestral things. I am a cellist, as you have doubtless guessed. Yes Violists, you are allowed in here too.

I'm a cellist as well! Orchestra is storming awesome, by the way. As we all know already

Are you sure that's a good idea? :P

I am the third cellist and I enjoy being in orchestra. It is amazing, though our orchestra teacher left for a new school. And I know some violists jokes as well. Though the new school that he left for has 5 cellists and 2 violists, no basses, and 13 violin players.

This is very specific information.

Favorite cello pieces anyone? (Cellos are all the people here currently)

I got to see him tonight at the tour of the school, which has been open, but just deemed acceptable for parents to roam.

Cello music by the piano guys, just in general. We sight read pieces today that I really enjoyed, but I don't remember the names, one was by Handel. A viola joke our teacher said today. "Don't be mean to the viola's, they burn longer."

I actually tend to feel bad for viola's but I guess it's on them. They chose their instrument.

I agree. We are dignified beings, for the most part.

I must third this opinion, though we do enjoy joking in class, mostly about viola's if I'm being honest.

You, being @CalanoCorvus, are surround by three angry cellists, what do you do?

Your offences are, 1. Calling string players "Stringy bois" then 2. Doing it again after some cellists explained to you that it is not permitted for you to do that. Make your decision quickly.

As someone with a guitar, i play an E minor chord very quickly, then roll a nat 20 and dash across the chairs and out the doors playing taunt by lovejoy and belting the lyrics full force.

The Cellist do not pursue, they are happy to have run you out of their land, but they do threaten you away with the concerto for two cellos by Vivaldi.

Nothing, but they end up being the butt of many jokes in orchestra are targeted at viola's who seem to love the attention.

I stand outside the door belting lyrics and furiosuly strumming to drown them out.

Wizard rolls a 16 for a charisma check, with proficiency bonuses it gets raised to 20. A hauntingly beautiful song serenades out from inside the room.
