Two things. 1: Who is Random Fellow and 2. Are you saying he trapped me? Because I was planning to have a separate character be doing that.

Random Fellow Is my character. He is currently made of fire. And no, he's just adding to the confusion.

Random Fellow found a basement.

Nameless summoned a wall of air in between him and TAAron. "You really want to fight me?"

TAAron managed to wrenched his head to the side as hard as he could in a feeble attempt to shake his head. He was forced to throw himself at the wall, bouncing off with a painful impact. As he stood up, he again made an effort to shake his head, and even managed to mouth a terrified no.

Focusing mostly on sealing off the connection to other man had made, the manipulator realized he was losing some of his hold on TAAron. He quickly seized him again, forcing him to keep struggling despite the TAAron's true Intent being against it. Unfortunately, his methods were not sound enough to force the scholar to commit his full ability to the fight and make him strategize in the manipulator's favor.

Haly: chimes as birds “I don’t think he wants to fight! I don’t think he has a choice!” Coalesces into herself “I wonder if there’s a Belowplace here…”

According to Haly’s powers, I’d say yes. But if the magic of the room is strong enough, it could keep a Belowplace from existing here. You choose.

What exactly would you say is the nature of the Belowplace? Like, A mirror dimension that forms in opposition to any space that exists? Or an alternate location that connects to existing locations above? If the former, I'd say yes. If the latter, I'd say maybe, but it would probably be pretty difficult. TAAron's captor is slipping up a bit with keeping the room isolated, but he is cutting it off right now.

Its the former, but again, I don’t want to ruin anything. SO STOP ME IF IM BEING BAD.

Haly: kneels onto the ground and sticks her hand through “I’m not sure… I think…”

Nameless glanced at Haly, then quickly swiveled back to TAAron as the mind-controlled patient swung at him. "Fine. If he doesn't want to fight, we won't fight." Summoning the one power, Nameless channeled fire into TAAron's weapon until its blade melted.

It's fine. The idea of this little thing was more for it to just play out based on what you all did instead of having it be a specific plotline.

Swinging away from Nameless, TAAron began attacking Haly against his will. He grabbed ahold of one of her arms as she descended into the Belowplace, twisting it and breaking it before letting her fall the rest of the way. On the outside his expression was emotionless and unfocused. On the inside, TAAron was horrified at what he had just done.

Haly: screams, but grabs TAAron and pulls him down with her, then staggers back cautiously, clutching her arm and gritting her teeth

anger flashed in Nameless' eyes, and he grabbed Haly just before she entered the belowplace, punching TAAron in the face as they transitioned.

They’re in the Belowplace

If he was quick enough he could have grabbed onto Haly before she sunk under the floor tho

Haly: “No! Don’t hurt him. He’s being influenced somehow. I don’t know…” frantically looks around at the doors

In a min I’ll edit in a description of the Belowplace

Quote

It’s a long, dark hallway of upside-down doors, all diverse

You have a small sphere of light visible around your feet—violet colored—and any light goes far here

Thars about it

Yup all there

The manipulator was shocked. Before his very eyes, this girl instantaneously forged a spatial connection to a different dimension! This new dimension was vast, and the manipulator figured she could exit with TAAron at a different location outside of the prison, where his control would begin to weaken. Thankfully, his control over the scholar was not disrupted by the shift, and the girl was now considerably injured. Less fortunately, the other man had gotten through the gateway. Better do it now, then.

TAAron had hoped that his moving into the Belowplace would have freed him. Unfortunately, that was not the case. He felt himself be ordered to kill. Desperate, he managed to make himself stagger a few times, but was unable to stop completely. Hurry, Nameless! he thought. Whoever was controlling him wasn't willing to wait.

That did not work, Haly thought. If only she could find a place she knew better than the fibers that wove her very being, a place…

“Nameless! This way!” Haly dashed down the corridor. “We can leave him here until we find a cure.” She was bluffing, hoping TAAron would follow. But if he did, she had to find that door.

Nameless hesitated at Haly's words, but he'd had enough of TAAron's attacks. As the Mistborn staggered towards him, Nameless launched a flow of spirit towards him, meant to knock TAAron unconscious.

The attack slammed into TAAron. It should definitely have knocked him out, but it seemed that the control over him was absolute enough to keep him awake. All it did instead was make him falter and leave the imprisoned part of TAAron's mind screaming in agony. He could feel that he wasn't supposed to keep operating like that, and he was pretty sure that if he kept going like this for much longer it might cause some serious damage. Yet he could do nothing about it.

Nameless growled, summoning a ball of fire to launch at TAAron.

Hang on, hang on…

A door like writhing worms. A door that looked like apple flesh. A door that looked like a sunset.

A sunset!

And there it was. Haly swallowed, traced the triangle with her finger, and summoned her voice. “Nameless? Nameless, get him over here. I think… I think I found it.”

Hurry… Everything I’ve ever wanted, it’s right here. Hurry.

Oh, no. He's actually going to kill me.

Mind racing, TAAron came up with an idea. Allowing the force to take him into a full sprint at Nameless, he pounced on the man. Then, instead of kicking, he subtly adjusted his reaction to the command in order to push off, knocking Nameless over but sending TAAron flying backwards. As he thought of more ways to stall for time, he could feel the control he had over his body weakening. This time, however, it wasn't the other thing taking control. Instead, his brain was giving out, no longer able to properly manage itself. Although this probably meant he had brain damage, he couldn't help but feel satisfied that the manipulator's vessel had been taken out. He stood up, then fell back down. Checkmate.
