Better way to store stormlight in gemstones

So we know that

1. gemstones leak stormlight over time

2. Stormlight is gaseous investiture

3. aluminum is almost completely unknown pre final desolation 

4. stormlight functions via gaseous principles of pressure

so if you covered a large gemstone in airtight aluminum, perhaps with soul casting, then the buildup of high pressure SL leaking would eventually equal the pressure within the gemstone, forming an equilibrium. So if you cracked it open years later, it would still have SL, more or less depending on how large the gemstone is, and how much space there is in the aluminum packaging.

When stormlight leaks out of a gemstone it goes back to the SR, but if you covered a gem with Aluminum it wouldn't leak

Another solution: Just synthesize only perfect crystal structure gemstones.  OR You could genetically modify chull so that they only produce perfect gemhearts.

Better solution:

Step 1: Ship the gemstones to Sel.

Step 2: Use Forgery to make the gemstones into perfect gemstones.

Step 3: Ship the gemstones back to Roshar.

Optional Step 4: Realize that Sel's cognitive realm is a death trap and that there are no space crafts yet and abort the mission.

and there's also the fact that using forgery on the gem might make it impossible for Stormlight to be held in it.

Yeah, I thought about that... Based on investiture repelling investiture?

There is the other possibility that the soulstamp might draw investiture, which would just break the purpose of making it perfect.
