Where their supposed to be 3 of these?  If I remember correctly their are supposed to be 3 white sand novels.  We have 3 graphic novels that correspond to one unpublished book.  Are their two more unpublished books in the works or are these three books all we are going to get?

Yes, it was originally planned as a trilogy. This is what he said about this:

The original White Sand was the first of a trilogy so i was wondering what is your plan for the other two books? Writing them as books, graphic novels, or are you just to busy to actually do anything about it right now?

We'll decide when the graphic novel is done and out. Basically, we have to gauge fan response. If sales are good, and fans want more, we'll likely do them as graphic novels.

When I write more in Taldain, I intend to construct a new story, taking place after the events of the trilogy. (Whether or not we actually do graphic novels of the other two originals.)

More recently, he said this:

Do you anticipate ever coming back to White Sand?

Brandon Sanderson [PENDING REVIEW]

Yes, I do anticipate it, but no promises. If I do come back to it, it will not be the novel White Sand, it would be a sequel to the graphic novels.

Contrary to what one might think, the "Lord Mastrell" novel that's always listed as one of the first books he wrote is not a sequel but more like a second half of the original book:

Quote

Brandon Sanderson

Interestingly enough, I’ve never written a sequel. After seven years and fourteen novels, you would think that I’d have tried a sequel at least once–but I never have, not really. (Early on, the third book I wrote [Lord Mastrell] was a continuation of my first book [White Sand]. I don’t really count it as a sequel, however, since I simply stopped mid-plot on my first book because it was getting too long. I declared it to be ‘book one,’ took a breather and wrote something else for a while, then came back and finished the story.)
