  1. Thank you I appreciate it what i meant was that that specific world the poor people are the ones wearing silk and the rich are the ones wearing wool or flax. I kinda wanted to have that world be a kind of nightmarish forest with an empire run my the magic users of the world.
  2. Thank you Good luck on your connected stories
  3. My idea with outliving the universe is that there will be another one eventually yeah it would be super lonely but surely anything would be better than ceasing to exist
  4. Sorry i didn't realize how vague i was being
  5. I wish to be Immortal, to outlive the universe itself.
  6. 7 different dimensions, they are all basically going to a different version of the world but they are wildly different. One world is a sand covered wasteland where people live on and in large rock pillars that cover sections of the planets. Another dimension people don't venture out at night because of the massive spiders. Wool is what the rich wear because everyone turns the fields of spiderwebs into cloth. In the universe there will be at least one culture that has developed advanced tech and will participate in the events taking place at the end of the universe. All of these worlds will be separated and unable to travel between the worlds until I write the one about the magic system that lets people open portals. At that point it will develop into a complex politically charged war for dominance over the other dimensions while others fight to simply survive. As both sides are about to break from this century long war the Choledaka return, the Choledaka are the creators of the Multiverse and they are coming back to take what they created. The only reason the multiverse can possibly survive is because of a little girl who goes to magic school realizes that she's one of the Choledaka who's trapped in a human body, she is powerful enough to keep the other two Choledaka from destroying everything but the worlds fight the new hordes of enemies created by the Choledaka to destroy everything humanities protector is trying to save
  7. Practitioners use a kind of parasite that gives access to the three powers of the world. I'm panning on adding three more but i think there's some potential for really intriguing story(s) with this magic system. The powers are 1. Telepathy: They can read anyones mind for as long as they maintain eye contact. 2. Teleportation: They can teleport three times per day and only to a location that they've previously visited. They also have to be in complete darkness to do so, many wear large capes that they can hide under to teleport. 3. Telekinesis: They can move nonliving objects at will as long as they can see them but they are unable to move while doing so.
  8. I'm an aspiring writer of sci-fi fantasy and i was wanting to know if it would be possible to create a multiverse with wildly different worlds and magic systems that work on all the different planets/dimensions. If anyone is interested i can explain everything i have developed this far. I would really appreciate input on this, I'm a huge Sanderfan and i don't know if I've strayed to close to the Cosmere with this. Thanks in advance!!
  9. I understand, i'm behind on the Cosmere i know pretty much everyone knows more than me. I understand how the spirit web would eventually go holy cow you're like 500 years old and then you'd die. I made that comment without understanding what i was talking about.
  10. First off, thank you for thinking it was a good idea. I understand what you mean about it eventually making you age in other ways. Perhaps if you understood all the ways your body would deteriorate you could force your perspective to see all of that as damage. If you couldn't fully mind hack your mind that way there would still be other ways wouldn't there? If one was a full-born born Post-Atium you could go though surgeries when necessary to fix droopiness and constantly draw the senses, strength, wakefulness, memories, and the others. Atium would still be the best solution to stop aging but surely a Fullborn would be able to at least survive? (I know that wasn't what this topic was about so i apologize to the Admins if i cant talk about this here)
  11. I'd want to be in the world of the book I'm writing where superhumans came into existence right before the zombie apocalypse. I think its a fascinating world politicly and economically. Also i apologize if I'm not allowed to talk about non-Brandon stuff here
  12. Ok, so its an unknown for now anyway if you could become immortal from being any kind of twin born. There has to be a way to trick the spiritual DNA though right? In Warbreaker if someone holds enough Breath they stop aging. I know this isn't Mistborn related I'm sorry if I'm not allowed to add this part of the forum. Edit: @Calderis ok thanks for clearing that up. Sanderson never seems to do anything simplistically and i guess it would've been disappointing if it was any simpler.
  13. My Name Is Brenden and I only found Sanderson a little over a year ago and I've almost read everything he has written so far. I'm not completely sure how much I'm supposed to put here, but I'm an aspiring writer, I love to read and I'm exited to talk about all the different series and Hoid.
  14. Ok, sorry I guess I didn't pay close enough attention while reading. Is there a way to rewrite your spiritweb without possessing a shard or a sliver?
  15. Wait what? I thought if you were using enough feruchemical healing that it would stop aging because aging damages the cells so it's constantly repairing the damage that causes cellular aging.
