  1. I think he did (cover it it well). There is evidence of course (his cuffs, the shardblade if anybody finds it) but it's all circumstantial. Nothing concrete places him at the scene of the crime. Unfortunately he had motive, and this will come off as an assassination by somebody, with heavy suspicion falling on the Kholins. It is sort of a locked room mystery (only someone in Urithiru could have killed him and they likely have an accounting of everyone there, though depending on the traffic and when the body is going to be discovered there could be some confusion in that issue.). Of course given how Alethi act about assasination even if it is proved it came from the Kholin camp no one will call them on it publicly. It will erode Dalinars position of honor though. Actually it will probably do that anyway based on suspicion alone. And it isn't out of character. He has hated Sadeas since the beginning. He is a soldier, already used to killing. It's not like he is going to feel guilty about it. Maybe about the circumstances, but not the murder itself. He knifed a dude in a dark alley, but it isn't that different from swinging a Shardblade through a bunch of Parshendi. Hell, it's actually a lot fairer. Sadeas had a chance to fight back.
  2. Honestly, I picked no one. Not because I particularly dislike her or anything, but because that would be the most interesting option for me (and her current relation ship options don't really interest me). That's now though. Maybe their relationships will progress in an interesting way in the future. Wouldn't that be a point in their favor though? I mean if they get along fine the entire time that would be boring as hell. A rift makes the relationship more interesting, contains the possibility of reconnection which could make the relationship stronger, and gives them an (meta-)excuse to be in proximity to each other while their plots resolve.
  3. Pretty sure Lift said her oath (I will remember those who have been forgotten) before she used ReGrowth on Gaw.
  4. Unless they misunderstand the diagram. Or it's wrong. Which I think they mention it has been a few times. And the fact that Dalinar didn't get killed means he will be opposing the Diagram which means it is probably even further off. I mean the diagram (or at least smart Tarvawhatever) doesn't seem to get human nature. If a weird prophecy told you to kill yourself, would you? No. And in a way that's what the diagram probably tells a lot of people to do. They are likely going to fail to manipulate all the events properly, liked they almost screwed up when their Truthless met a Surgebinder. Anyway the plan is, at the very least, a good starting point I figure. But variables (Tarvas intelligence, Dalinar living, things he didn't know about (like what Hoids doing or Kaladin meeting Szeth.)) will make it obsolete eventually.
  5. Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but when I tried to sign in with a hotmail address for the last few of days I never received the verification e-mail. I had to use a gmail account to receive verification.
