  1. No one knows the timeline unfortunately. It could be 100s of years or just a few. Vivenna wouldn't go grow old if she reached the fifth? heightening. I do wonder why Szeth wasn't drawn in by Nightblood. We have seen that he isn't really strong willed or he wouldn't have gone around killing people that was clearly against what he wished for. He also isn't pure so wouldn't Nightblood kill him like it does to other people?
  2. Did Hoid actually swap drivers? I thought he merely used lightweaving and his mastery of accents to fool them into thinking he swapped drivers.
  3. We don't know how he changed after Vi entered his live. He could also be waiting for her since we don't really know how world hopping works. Hoid seems to just be called to places and often isn't sure why he's there until events occur. At least I hope she's still alive and makes an appearance with him
  4. Kaladin's eyes only changed when he went full badass mode. We haven't really seen Shallan use anywhere near as much stormlight as Kaladin has so maybe it's just about saying the words along with excess stormlight.
  5. That doesn't actually confirm that he wasn't a Ghostblood nor does it confirm that he is a Skybreaker. All it says is that he was looking for the skybreakers for some reason. Whether he joined them and got a blade from them or not is taking a bit of a leap I think. From all we have seen from the Skybreakers it seems like Nalan is rather involved in the capture of individuals and he is always protrayed as a constable. Riding out into a battle and singling one person seems completely against what we have seen so far. I think the more likely theory is that he was seeking out the Skybreakers to get justice either for his father or something else. Hoid also states that he is a man doing what he thinks is right. edit: I also think we can rule him out for being a Radiant since killing a Radiant might not drop their shardblade as they didn't break their oaths to kill the spren. Syl even states she remembers helping other people in the past so it seems likely the spren doesn't die if the person dies.
  6. He says all the bonded one died not all the Cryptics though.
  7. The Diagram members are allowed to act on their own will it seems(See Graves) so maybe it's encoded because it's something Mr. T in his genius state realized he could not allow anyone but himself to use.
  8. The fall and the super storm sets her up nicely to change forms. Don't see any other reason why she would not die "on screen"
  9. I thought Amaram fled after he was confronted so he didn't go with all the troops to the magical land in the sky(I can't remember the name)
  10. I think it may be about what happens after the Mr. T has saved the world. Once the danger is gone what do the Orders do? They are humans with immense power but without any common foe to bind them. Breaking them may be the only way to stop the infighting and power struggles that would result in their being. EDIT: I really like Honor being behind the Desolations. What if the Desolations is part of the means that Honor bound Odium to Roshar? It could even be that the Voidbringers are actually the rightful people of Roshar and the humans are the invaders, the "wrong doers" if you think of it.
  11. It takes away from Eshonai's personality if it isn't her own self that's screaming. That would mean that her old self is completely dead and there is no redemption possible for the Voidbringers.
  12. What I wonder is wouldn't Shallan see Jasnah in Shadesmar when she is trying to soulcast the boat. Unless Jasnah only goes into shadesmar after the boat has been soulcast.
  13. She could have been bonded with a spren that gave her lightweaving. Eshonai's personally changed drastically and she mentions how her sister seems exactly the same. Seems like a rather big hint that someone was/is amiss with her. She also knowingly brought back their "gods" which is against everything they believe in.
  14. It seems to be a trait of Lightweavers. In one of the paragraphs about Lightweavers their incredible memory is mentioned.
  15. All of them have done some pretty nasty stuff. Dalinar isn't a man that works like that so making him aware of their existence doesn't sound like a good idea. In fact almost all of them break the very first Radiant oath.
  16. Szeth says the stone shamans will come collect his blade when he dies. It implies that they know he has it and aren't in any rush to retrieve which suggests that he didn't steal it.
  17. I don't know if this is proper place to say but WoB hints that what Adolin did might be inline with what Dustbringer would do. Being a radiant seems to be contagious so it's possible it's just the beginning of his journey to becoming something more than a handsome prince who likes dueling people.
  18. I think the Diagram happened after Gavilar's visions. He was the motivation behind Mr. T going to Nightwatcher I think.
  19. He also helped save his brother Adolin by distracting one of the 4 men fighting before Kaladin got there. If Renarin is actually evil he might be the worst evil person I've ever seen.
  20. I don't see why people think Precognition must be of Unmade/Oduim. Honor states that Cultivation was always better at seeing the future than him and Renarin says he is a Truthwatcher which is Illumination/Progression which might put it very close to cultivation side. His behaviour also seems to mirror that which is in the section about truthwatchers(Never fully explaining actions, esoteric). I find it hard to believe Renarin is some kind of evil spy from all what we have read about him. He just desperately wants to be normal like everyone else. In a way he's similar to Shallan but instead of lying to himself he just doesn't accept who he is.
  21. In the visions of Dalinar Honor mentioned that Odium realized he didn't have continually fight man but instead just leave them alone and they would destroy themselves more than if he actively tried. When you have a larger foe you tend to forget your differences and bond together to fight said foe so it makes sense for Odium to leave them alone. What if previous desolations were caused by Odium but he figured out if he left people alone they would eventually bring about their own desolation so he waited all this time until they have basically no defense against the Voidbringers. I mean look at the history, they actively destroyed information that could help and they pushed a race of people into a corner which in turn started the Voidbringers coming back without any Radiant/Heralds to save them.
  22. The thing is the people that are killing Surgebinders don't seem to actually be Skybreakers. So we don't know if an actual Skybreaker would go about doing what they do. Seems like Darkness has just gone a bit crazy. I also came to the realization that the crimes of Lift didn't fit her punishment by Darkness. How is breaking into a palace and eating food worthy of death.
  23. Wouldn't the Highspren then tell the other Spren that the radiants didn't murder their people? Seems like pretty important information to just not tell anyone.
  24. The world is ending. They are having mass Riots in the capital and Voidbringers returning. Throwing someone into a cell is basically a death sentence so don't think he'll do that. Kaladin/Windrunners aren't about Justice or Laws, they protect people.
  25. Shame she seemed rather nice just that she lost everything and was forced to be involved with Roshone. Being nice to Kal would have just won her the scorn of Roshone. At least I hope she'll be alright ;(
