  1. Kaladin arrives just in time to hear Laral swear the first oath as she is laying a right-cross on Roshone's chin.
  2. I think I recall a line from Syl mentioning what the bond does to humans and spren. She mentions something about losing something and gaining something. I wonder if what happens when a spren starts to bond that they release the wild side of themselves, creating the voidspren.
  3. I do not think that Adolin will go bad. It is so cliche for the good guy's best friend to become the bad guy and Mr. Sanderson has already done that with Moash. We know that different radiant groups did not like each other but I am guessing that different radiant groups worked together in teams like we saw in the visions from the first book. I am guessing that Kaladin and Adolin will have surges that are different but work together.
  4. Is there any proof that the ancients used gems as currency like in the modern era? I am guessing that like the light eyes and shards using spheres is just a corruption of the importance of the items from ancient times

  6. As for the lots of needed stormlight. I am guessing the dawnshards are gems that can hold a massive amount of stormlight or are generators of stormlight. The next book will probably focus on a group of people searching for the dawnshards.
  7. I believe it will be along the lines of leading people into danger and accepting not being able to save everyone.
  8. Shallan changes Pattern's blade to a long knife when she is cutting out the cuddle hole before the high storm hits.
  9. It is the last line of the book. Renarin saved the day, decided he was tired, so he curled up in his dad's arms for a cuddle.
