Long Game 9: The Empty Throne Part 1: The Barrow Barons
Jo and the Bush replied to Alvron's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Huh, there was a flurry of last minute vote changes that should have resulted in Kelsey being lynched. Aonar and Araris both voted for Kelsey. -

Long Game 9: The Empty Throne Part 1: The Barrow Barons
Jo and the Bush replied to Alvron's topic in Sanderson Elimination
That's part of my point, they wouldn't have killed the Serial Killer if they knew he was the Serial Killer. But seeking would only have told them that he was seeking someone, which is a way for them to be found. It is possible that it was a Random kill, but that doesn't give us any information at all. So i'm hoping they targeted him on purpose, because that allows us to figure things out. -

Long Game 9: The Empty Throne Part 1: The Barrow Barons
Jo and the Bush replied to Alvron's topic in Sanderson Elimination
There are only two options, Jain and Milton. Since Tulir was in his room with the every night, he was protected from everyone else. I'm going to keep my Vote on Jain, since he hasn't yet defended against my vote for him, and the reasonings behind it. -
There's also a WoB somewhere stating that Scadrial has more Metals than Earth. I'll see if I can find it.

Long Game 9: The Empty Throne Part 1: The Barrow Barons
Jo and the Bush replied to Alvron's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I'm retracting my vote on Kelsey. I'm instead going to vote for Jain as well. He and Milton were both in the room with Tulir, and I think one of them is a Seeker Baron. I had an extended conversation with Alvron about what a seeker would be told if they seeked different types of Seekers, and there's no way to distinguish. So my current theory is that one of them seeked him, saw that he was seeking someone, and offed him him, thinking they were getting rid of a Seeker. -
And the best thing is, he became a member less then a week before you did. Of course, that's two months after me. Hey Chaos, are the Negative Reps still going to be overhauled?

Quick Fix Game 4: Conversions (Name liable to change, if someone comes up with a better one.) General Rules: Standard Quick Fix Game (QF) Procedure. Fast paced Cycles lasting 24hrs with write-ups including the results of the lynch, Votes, and any mentionable Actions. This game can run with as little as 12 people, but will run best with 16+. All players will be only allowed to submit 1 Action per Cycle. Each Cycle will end at 9PM Pacific Standard Time, with the next write up being posted about an Hour later. The Seventeenth Shard Wins if they can find and get rid of all of the Converted and Hoid, and the Converted and Hoid win if they outnumber the Seventeenth Shard. The Roles: The Terris Nurse: (Classic Protection): Once per cycle, you may target any player. That player is immune to all kill attempts during the next Cycle, including Lynchings. The Researcher: (Classic Seeker): Once per Cycle, you may spy on someone, learning their Role. (Nurse, Renegade, Researcher, Wit, Letter Bearer, Converted, Regular) The Renegade: Takes two cycles to kill a player. (On Cycle one, Renegade choose to Target Meta, at the end of Cycle 2, Meta gets assassinated. After Meta has been Targeted, the Renegade cannot take back his Action.) The Letter Bearer: You are the only one who can freely send and receive PM's. If two people wish to Open communications, you can choose to allow it or not. You get a Google Doc for all PM's that you aren't a part of. (See the PM Section) The Wit: Hoid. he has access to the powers of Lightweaving, Allomantic soothing, and Stormlight Healing. He may only use one power per Cycle, in addition to his Conversion power. Lightweaving: If the Researcher targets you, you come up as a Whatever you want it to be. Soothing: He may change someone's Vote. This does Not Cancel his own Vote Seeking: Can determine the Role (But not Alignment) of any one player. Healing: He survives all attempts on his Life for this Cycle. He may Not use this Ability twice in a row. In addition, once per Cycle he may Convert a Sharder to his way of thinking. He may only Convert 25% of the Original Players. Once he's reached his Quota, he can't convert. He may convert and use a Power in the same Cycle. He may not participate in the Converted Kill. The Converted: You've been convinced by Hoid to join him. You keep any abilities you had, and get a group kill, you also get a Doc to talk in with Hoid. PM's: Anyone may send in an Order at any Time to start a PM Conversation the Next Cycle. But this Conversation will not be Started until the Letter-Bearer agrees to deliver messages. He will be able to see what you write in your Conversation, even they're not included. Votes: If there is a Tie in the Votes, the Player who has received more Total votes in past cycles gets killed. Inactivity: Every Cycle that a Player does not post at least once, they receive an additional Vote on them the Next. These votes are cumulative. If a player is lynched solely due to their own Votes, Then two players are lynched. Them and who ever the Village voted to lynch. RP: You may RP on any World, in any time period as anyone you wish. Excluding Earth Variant’s. If you want to die in a specific way due to Lynching, (Such as killed in one of Szeth’s raids, or eaten by Shades) send me a PM, and I’ll work it in. Write-ups: Don’t expect anything too elaborate. I'll include relevant Actions in the Writeups. Such as the Nurse’s Protection, if they’re target gets attacked. Writeups may include Cameo’s by Senior Sharders (Former Players from previous Games.), So if you’d like to have one of your old characters included, Send me another PM. Order of Actions: Lynch Votes Hoid's Soothing Nurse Protection Lynch Kill Renegade Kill Hoid's Healing Hoid's Lightweaving Researcher Ability Hoid's Conversion Power Quick Links:

Actually, Duke and Velth appear to be waiting to attack a Group of Bandits. If I have Time tomorrow, I might pop in and assassinate one of the Ebony Guys.

Justic vs Mercy/Life vs Justice
Jo and the Bush replied to RawToast225's topic in General Brandon Discussion
TLDR: They all are. Any of the three without both of the other two don't work, they require the others to function properly. Justice, Mercy and Life all require each other to Function. Justice and Mercy are counterparts, And without Life, neither can exist. For Example: Only Life and Justice: Without Mercy, there are no exceptions. If you break the Law, you are punished. You cannot redeem yourself or atone for your transgressions. The man who steals to feed his Family is punished the same as the man who steals to feed his drug addiction. This is often the Prime cause of Future Broken Utopia's like the one in The LEGO Movie. Only Life and Mercy: There is no Punishment. Everyone can make a plea, and be forgiven for any sin. In this land, the man who murders for fun can be released because he claims to have changed, and won't do it again. This is a World in which the Strong can do whatever they want, free in the knowledge that they won't be punished. Only Mercy and Justice: There is no Life, so this one is obviously bad. Your second question can't really be debated about, unless I'm misinterpreting what you mean by Life. So as Paragrin said, You need a Balance. -
I'm a bad Artist, So I would use Minimal Chalklings. Or a lot of Simple ones. Because of that, I'd go for a Simpler defense, and use Lots of Lines of Vigor.

Let's Rule out Atium at the very start shall we? Well, a Misborn has increased Physical abilities due to Pewter, but that's negated by the Force. Mistborn can move Metallic Objects around in set ways, while Jedi can move anything around in any way. Jedi don't wear any Invested clothing though, so Soothing and Rioting can affect them, so a Duralumin Burn could easily pacify them. Copper could probably block out a Jedi's Life Force as well. So in an honorable Duel, the Jedi would win. Ina street fight, the mistborn would win. So I vote Mistborn, since they don't participate in Honorable Duels, but Jedi Participate in Street fights.

Long Game 9: The Empty Throne Part 1: The Barrow Barons
Jo and the Bush replied to Alvron's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Let's try to follow Raid's Plan tonight. Armory - Mailliw73, Lightsworn Panda, Little Wilson, The Only Joe Barracks - killersquirrel59, AonarFaileas, Jasnah Damodred, Gamma Fiend Mess Hall - Theorymaker, Ashiok, Araris Valerian So Tulir was the Serial Killer, though he never was in the room with Raid, which means that he killed him for his plan, or leadership role. Thank you BB's for killing him. Also, I PM'd Alvron, and he said we would know if a Player blows up a room. This wasn't due to players. Of the Remaining Players, I'm going to put a Vote on Killer Squirrel. He's getting PM's like the rest of us, and He was online Yesterday after the Writeup. So Either he quit the game, or he's a Shadow BB. Neither one is Helpful. -

I want there to be an actual Question that destroys Oregon. Like some Epic asks it to the Protagonists, right before erupting Mt. Hood or something.

Now that I think about it, if you just stored a Massive amount of Breath in all of your clothing, you'd have Stealth Shardplate.

It would depend on how many Breahs the Cloak had. The More investiture it has, the easier it would be to block.
