    Kyndeth, Pk and I are in the Library. Reader frowned as he heard several thumps on the table above him. Looking around, he didn't see anyone near his table, so what had caused the thumps? He rolled out from under it, and pulled himself up to his feet. On the table were several books, apparently fallen from the shelves. How irritating. Had somebody tried to drop books on him? If they had, they would pay for-- Wait. The Compendium of Neutralities found in the Wyldes! It was on the table! He nearly let out a whoop of excitement, but remembered he was in a library at the moment. He snatched the book and ran back to where he had left his other books, mouthing thanks to whatever god or Fae had found the book for him. Did you forget I was under a Table BB?

    So it still goes up by one jot per complaint against you, but you can only decrease it by 5 jots, whether you file one complaint or two? Do I have it correct now?

    (Emphasis Mine) The rules say complaints filed against you increase your tuition by a single Jot, not five.

    Not really. Having a complaint filed against you increases your tuition by one Jot. Filing a complaint against someone else decrease your tuition by 5 jots. Since everyone can cast 2 votes, you can get 10 jots per turn, just from voting. (By ten jots, i mean pay ten jots less.) So while it does increase your tution, I would argue that it doesn't change voting enough for us to be scarcer with our votes. (I know, you didn't say we should, I'm just nixing that idea in case someone does suggest it.) Querey for the GM's hallowed be their names; Do we have 5 EP as of this Month, or do we get the 5 EP at the end of this Month? The one called Reader carefully sorted through the stack of books on his table another time, noting each title before setting it aside. For the fourth time, he failed to see The Compendium of Neutralities found in the Wyldes. It was becoming more and more probable that someone had taken it from his table while he had been studying the second volume of Dissertations on the Impossibilities of the Celestial Bodies. Whether they had taken it maliciously, or unknowing that he had been using it, he cared not. He stood and surveyed his surroundings, looking for possible culprits. The stacks were mainly empty, most students gossiping about the recent death in the crockery, or sleeping their lives away. The only student he saw and recognized was Acaelus. Starfire was in the stacks almost as often as he himself was. Perhaps he had seen who had taken The Compendium. He pushed his chair back under the table, carefully stacked his books in reverse Alphabetical order, and made his way to Acaelus's table. Before he got halfway there, the hair on the back of his neck shot up, warning him of danger. He sprang sideways, landing on his side and crawling under the nearest table. He peered out from beneath the chairs and saw the source of the danger. There was a man following Acaelus. He didn't look like anybody that belonged in the stacks. He looked rather crazy. (Yes, he was well aware he was currently crouching underneath a table and staring at a man. He was perfectly self aware of his own particular brand of craziness.) Reader thought back, trying to remember if he had sen the man before. Hadn't one of the scrivs mentioned his name was Delta (Paranoid King)? Why was Delta stalking Starfire? Was a fellow scholar in danger? He settled in underneath the table, determined to watch this strange man. I was originally going to vote for the other bookworm, but PK beat me to it, so I'll vote for him instead. And to be clear, that's only One vote on PK, not two.

    Everyone called him Reader, for that is what he did. Every day, students and Scrivs would see him in the Stacks, either reading yet another book, or writing something while glaring at the nearest student. Nobody quite remembered when precisely he had shown up, though they knew it hadn’t been long.Those who ask the Archivist about him get a knowing smile, and little else. When they turn to the Scrivs instead, they get shrugs and wishes for more information. Rumors abound about him of course. He’s read every book in the Archive. He’s secretly the son of the Chronicler. He knows the name of Ink, and uses it to write a book a day. He’s an excellent singer when you spike his drink. He built the four-plate door. When approached about the rumors, he panicked, and said that he didn’t know how somebody had figured that out. When pressed further, he refused to reveal which rumor was true. But at the end of the day, nobody truly cares to know anymore about him. He neither helps nor hinders anyone’s studies. He’s simply another oddity of the University. And that is precisely how he likes it. Questions; If you win a Talent Pipe, and somebody else gives you theirs, do you get twenty talents per cycle, or just the base ten? Can a Player become a Master in multiple fields? So, uh, hi guys. I’m back for this game at least. Not sure if I’ll stick around afterwards.

    I've been putting this off for a long time, hoping that I wouldn't need to announce this. I'm dropping out. I'm sorry for this, but I just don't have the time. I haven't had the time for a while now. I wish I could keep posting, but at this point, I have to drop something in my life, and the 17th shard is the least important. So it has to go. Unfortunately, I have a lot of characters, most of whom are rather important. Corpsemaker, sightline, blackwave, gordon and the reckoners. All of them will need to be adopted or killed. Sorry for dumping this on you guys. Most of the information about them needed to play them can be found with Twi, or Edge in Blackwave's case. Do with my characters whatever you want. Hopefully I'll eventuly return, but that won't be for at least half a year. There is so much crap going on in my life right now. If you need any more information, make a pm so that I get an email notification.

    I believe I have brought this up before in docs, but not in this thread. This is a concept I had for a game. Rather than everyone starting with a role, everyone starts with an item. Each item has infinite uses. But, upon use, it is transferred to whoever you affect. If you switch someone's vote, next cycle they get to switch a vote. If you protect someone, next cycle they get to protect someone. At the same time, if you kill someone, their heir will receive the kill item, as well as any other items they had on them. At the start of the game, everyone is assigned a heir publicly. Players may change that heir at any time, and cannot be stopped from doing so. afterward it is impossible to detect who their heir is or was. The eliminators in this game would not have a group kill, rather, they would start with all the kill items in the game, one for each of them.
