"Dogs can't eat butter." Correction: They SHOULDN'T eat butter, but a certain pug named Mollie is such a fatty that she actually LIKES the stuff.

That's not as bad as it sounds. Butter is basically pure fat, which is an attractive meal to a carnivore. You can breed a wolf as much as you want, make them as smushy-faced as their genes will allow, and thousands of years later they'll still go after the foods that are closest to the meats they'd have eaten from caribou or bison in the Ice Age. It's not surprising at all that little Mollie Mae would think butter's the highest cuisine.

She also thinks croissants, dried cherries, breath mints, toilet paper, and Q-tips are the highest cuisine. I'm not entirely certain there's any wolf blood IN Mollie's family tree.
