  1. No, but that's the right world.
  2. No Let me expend a bit on the first clue: This one was saved from death three times in three different situations by three different PoV characters.
  3. No, but it is a cosmere character.
  4. This character has experienced many different lives.
  5. No again. Do you want another hint or is it too soon?
  6. Hmmm, let's see.... This one was saved from death three times in three different situations by three different characters.
  7. Some of the darkeyes of the remaining Cobalt Guard have both the Cobalt Guard insignia and that of Bridge Four, but it's never said the Cobalt Guard is no more or all of its members are now Bridge Four. The only lighteyes who joined them was Renarin and he never was Cobalt Guard anyway.
  8. Amaram? Szeth? Vargo? Rysn's babsk, Vstim? Shallan's father or any of her brothers (I can really see this applying to every one of them)? Adolin? Renarin? Vathah? Lamaril or Matal? Basically half SA cast might qualify.
  9. I didn't say Elhokar was talking about Graves, they probably haven't met before the end of WoR. I meant what you said - that it could have been Graves's men who Elhokar overheard talking about him
  10. You didn't miss it, no one tells Elhokar on screen. May be he was told later on or Graves's men, who apparently spoke enough unpleasant things to make Elhokar get drunker than even before, mentioned it. After all, those working with Vargo and the Diagram definitely knew Szeth was meant to kill Dalinar, and Graves said their main goal was to separate Kal from Dalinar anyway.
  11. Oh, sorry, I missed your post. Yes, it's the Stormfather! Good job The first hint can refer to either letting Syl back to Kal or sending visions to Dalinar; the attempted murder is the highstorm he send and the third is Eshonai becoming stormform. The wording was important because I basically quoted his word:
  12. No. I can't believe I managed to pick such a difficult way to describe this character Think some more about the three events and especially about the wording of the third hint.
  13. No to all. Yes!
  14. No to both, but you're getting closer. You can ask about the character or either of the three events to help you figure it out.
  15. I didn't think he was out of character. Even after WoK I was skeptical about him. He was the last to accept Kaladin or even act decent, he spoke against lighteyes with lots of anger and hatred that I didn't feel form any other bridgeman. He gladly seizes every opportunity that would give him the edge to be a better warrior for selfish reasons. He doubted Dalinar and didn't want them to stay in his camp at first. Moash never tried to get more information on what happened to his grand-parents. He had judged Elhokar guilty and sentenced him to death without a second thought. He's been trying to get revenge for years, that was the reason he signed in the army. He was lost in the darkness Syl wished Kal to avoid when thinking about Amaram. Kaladin isn't Moashe's life-long best brother-like buddy. Moash went against his orders when it came to the patriots and he had been bloodthirsty for years. I'm uncertain if he would have killed Kaladin, though.
  16. No, but you're thinking in the right direction.
  17. No. The wording of the third hint is important. If you want any additional hints, just tell me whether you want more on one of the events or the character. I'm not giving away the shardworld the character is from yet, but s/he isn't from a novella or a short story.
  18. Alright, it's been more than half a day and no one has made any new guesses, so I add new things - it's a cosmere character. Here's what the first hint was: But the opposite is also true - the character would have sheltered someone if s/he was given that power. But s/he could only watch. edit: of course, I'm referring to two different events. The attempted murder is a third.
  19. Like which highprince? Aladar used to be Sadeas main supporter, the other is Ruthar. Everyone else (except Sebarial) was trying to play in the middle.
  20. He's not in the Cobalt Guard, but he commands them, so it's not untrue to call him Captain of the Cobalt Guard; he's also Captain of the King's Guard, which is something third.
