  1. Just put your faith in the Lord of Light and everything will be alright.
  2. No on second thought ignore what I said. If the hard numbers you already had were right than that section of the numbers isn't uniform at all on how big of gaps there are between them so 160 is just as likely as 162
  3. 162 would make more sense because the increments before and after that are all 17 and it would be 17 from 162 to 179 where we know old blood ends
  4. That's because no true Sanderfans are jerks. Except maybe that Kurkistan fellow. He can be a real rotspren sometimes.
  5. Summon felt so helpless. He'd done what he could for Ben and Thomas the previous night but things had just gotten too out of hand with Swimim. He couldn't help but feel it had been partly his fault. Yes, he'd retracted his accusations as soon as it looked like Aodan was out of danger but why even incriminate Swimim at all? No one was really going to lynch a monk so had there even been a reason to deflect the attention? "The color blasted fool didn't even say a single word in his own defense!" Nothing to be done about it now except to try and wheedle as much information out of the events as he could. He planned on keeping a close eye on Chide and all those who piled on Swimim right after Chide's name came up. It could have just been mob mentality, Divine Breath knows it wasn't the first time a crowd got carried away out of fear, but Summon would keep it in mind all the same. Summon shuffled over to a table with some of the more level headed individuals. They needed to figuring something out and quick or they were likely to find another body in the morning.
  6. When someone in real life says something particularly witty or insightful and you instinctively look for the upvote button
  7. 730 = Elantrian (definite change point)
  8. Welcome to the forum Landy! Sounds like an interesting essay. I imagine if Brutus had an honorspren we might never have gotten the phrase "Et tu Brute?".
  9. If you get the chance Claincy, can you add the final vote tally? I doubt it will reveal any voting inconsistencies but still nice to have.
  10. Agents of Shield had an alright start but I lost quite a bit of interest as the show progressed. None of the characters really resonated with me like they do in other Whedon shows. I stuck with it though since there isn't much else on that night and have actually enjoyed the last few episodes. I'm really interested to see where the show goes with where shield itself is after the events of The Winter Soldier.
  11. If you've already read stormlight, then no not really. Stormlight is the only one that has a lot of cosmere cameos and Easter eggs so far. Most of the others are pretty self contained so can be read in any order without it making much difference.
  12. You know the forum does have its own wiki that is a nice resource for refreshing yourself on various cosmere terms. There's an article on the Pahn Kahl.
  13. Yeah, sorry about that. I kinda pioneered the 600's. Which reminds me, you and Meta owe me toll for passing through my domain.
  14. Welcome to the forum Dain. From my experience this is one of the friendliest and most helpful forum communities I've seen so hope this is a great first experience for you. Have you delved into many other of Brandon's works or just mistborn, WoT, and stormlight?
  15. As promised, now that Gammer has removed her vote from Aodan and there is no longer a risk, I'm retracting my vote for Swimim. I agree with Barty on this one that we've gained a huge amount of info from todays voting. There's no reason to kill anyone unless we have some major evidence since we can now build a strong information network through Aodan. The spy and anyone with strawmen, breaths, mercenary roles, or Returned status should get in touch with him if they haven't already.
  16. I can assure you that is not the complete list of people actively working behind the scenes. The discussions from the last two days that were prompted by revealed deceptions might make that group's dirty laundry a bit more visible but there are most certainly a few Idrian's who are doing just as much conspiring Aodan, for example has been doing just as much as the rest of us, we just happen to know now that he can't be PK.
  17. Totally agree with that one. Don't know how many times I thought, "seriously? just shoot his legs."
  18. Until Gammer rescinds her vote for Aodan, I'm going to have to vote Swim just so Aodan isn't killed by accident or by some PK ropes.
  19. Yes, that does make you suspicious. You were the only one who knew Vard was an agent, you knew Aodan was claiming to be an agent, then used Vard's death to cast aspersions on Aodan. It could have all been an unlucky coincidence but coincidences are usually all we have to go on in this game. Pretty sure the reason he replied to those three people was because you called us all out in the main thread (without having given us any heads up or even talking to me once in private at that point). He probably sent it to all of us because he was trying to gain as much information from as many Halledrens as possible. Had nothing to do with knowing anyone's roles prior to that. Yeah, pretty sure you won't be receiving any more pm's from me if you're going to announce the contents to the whole group without even asking. If you would have asked, I'd have told you that Swim hasn't played the game or even looked at a pm since friday. If he's PK, he's not much of a threat because he isn't active. If we kill him, its not much of a loss to us because he isn't active. I was planning on just sitting back to see how things went for now but I guess that's not possible now. Swimmingly announced to the large group thread that he was the Idrian agent. The logic he gave in there was that he cared more about taking out the PK than the faction rivalry. Almost immediatly, he sent a pm stating that he wasn't really the agent. He only said that in the large group because he felt people would be more willing to believe he wasn't PK by stating he was an idrian agent than if he were to just say "hey, I'm not PK". It was a risky gambit but obviously no more risky than anything Aonar and Meta have done until this point so not sure I'm set on lynching him for it just yet. Edit: the only reason I told that to Barty was because he was in the process of telling Aonar someone had told our group they were the Idrian agent (swim). I wanted to get him to end that conversation with Aonar and not give any more information because I still had my doubts about Aonar's trustworthiness.
  20. That would be way too much power if they could force all Idrians to vote for someone. The monk is essentially a protector not an instigator.
  21. Well that clears things up nicely. I hereby retract my vote for Aodan. For now, I'll hold off voting until I see how this new development plays outEdit: wrong color
  22. Well, that seems like a pretty simple claim to test. If a few Idrians vote for you (needs to be multiple in case the PK have a rope) and the votes are null at the end of the day, you are clean. Once a couple idrian votes have been cast for you, I'll gladly change mine.
  23. Well, since you two have decided to spill all the contents of that conversations, we may as well have a third party to corroborate all the facts. Aonar, you seem to be implying that Meta knew Vard was the agent when he never once stated as much. Only one person, who I'll not name but should know I'll be watching them, admitted to knowing about Vard. Secondly, while you did give your main defense as stated above, you did also later in the conversation reply to questions by indicating that there must be multiple agents and that the PK wouldn't have killed Vard if you were a PK so Meta's statements weren't exactly false. After the accusations started flying, I read back through all my conversations the accused were included in. One thing that jumped out at me was that there are two people Meta has information about who would almost assuredly be dead if he were PK. They pose a far bigger prize than Vard. At least, if I were PK I would have gone after them instead. My deductions rely pretty heavily on what I'd do as a PK but my gut feelings seemed to steer me right the last game I played so I'm going to vote Aodan at this point Edit: just a note that this post was being written before aonar's retraction. I'll keep my vote how it is for now but mainly because I find it funny I'm the deadlock vote again.
  24. We'd need a confirmation from Clancy but I'm pretty sure, from how I read the description, that the strawman can be used the same night you make it. It takes a separate night to take the breaths back. I'm sure there would be at least a few people who have enough breaths to corroborate that so seems like a pretty dumb way to falsely accuse Cog. Edit, This is the first line in the description: Create a strawman and tell it to spy on someone. Seems pretty clear that is one action.
