  1. Oops... apologies all. I knew I was going to make that mistake at some point... Vote Tally: Raven(3): Clanky, Kipper, Adamir{2}, Macen{1} Emerald(1): Hero Araris(1): Adamir{1}, Alvom Alvron(0): Lopen{1}, Raven{1}, Venture(1): Araris Alvom(1): Sart Winter(1): Hael So I will then reiterate that I would like to hear Alvom respond to Sart's questions. This also tells me that I need to re-look over Alvom, Hero's and Raven's posts in more detail this time...
  2. EDIT: Spoilered rather than removed so that the next few post make sense, but so that the tally doesn't cause any further confusion. Seeing as the trend seems to be commenting on whether Raven seems suspicious, I'm reaffirming that I find Raven no more suspicious than most of the other players.
  3. Just looking back at that day 1 lynch... So, approaching the end of the cycle, the votes looked something like: Wilson(1): Nobles Stink(1): Orlok Shallan(1): Haelbarde Raven(1): Winter Cloud Honey Badger(3): Mailliw, Araris, RippleGylf Ripplegylf(3): Clanky, Raven, sart With Ripple having voted on Honey Badger to force a tie. Then Hero puts a vote on Phattemer: (dropping the rest because they don't change at all) Honey Badger(3): Mailliw, Araris, RippleGylf Ripplegylf(3): Clanky, Raven, sart Phattemer(1): Hero After discussion about lynching inactives, 10 minutes later Ripple jumps ship to Phattemer: Honey Badger(2): Mailliw, Araris Ripplegylf(3): Clanky, Raven, sart Phattemer(2): Hero, RippleGylf Then, just over an hour later, Alvom and Stink throw their votes on Phatt, with Lopen's coming in 10 minutes after that: Honey Badger(2): Mailliw, Araris Ripplegylf(3): Clanky, Raven, sart Phattemer(2): Hero, RippleGylf, Alvom, Stink, Lopen Looking through Hero, Alvom, and Lopen's posts for the game, Alvom doesn't immediately strike me as suspicious. Lopen I'm unsure of, but I think I'd tend towards he's not a conspirator. I'll probably keep an eye on him though. Hero hasn't seemed to contribute much, though I guess I should cut him slack, considering he's got a week-old baby girl. Bother. I was expecting to get to the end of this with a vote for one of them. Unfortunately not, it seems. A brief look at the Day 2 lynch makes me wonder about moving Adamir's vote off of Winter. I would have expected Winter to have commented on Kipper's trustworthiness after Mailliw turned out to be a Noble.
  4. Why you've not seen a lot of me as compared to the first two cycles is the game started around Friday for me, and so I had time over Friday, Saturday. Last few days have been busy, and I've prioritized sorting out stuff for Wyrn's HttFE game. I might have some time before cycle ends, but for the rest of the week I should be more active. I guess the other thing is I didn't feel there much worth saying, and seeing as I didn't want to vote on Mailliw, there was little chance my vote would do anything.
  5. Will be sleeping for the next while, but should be back on for the 3-4 hours prior to turn over. Just thought I'd chime in and comment on a few things before I drop off. Re: Raven being night voted. I've been ball parking ~8 Brightlord/ladies. So until we've killed more like 4 of them, I'm assuming that there'll be enough of them that 2 votes would be necessary for it to go through (noting that that is just because I suspect players will vote fairly randomly, rather than it being a requirement of the ability). As far as the reason for the votes on Raven goes, a vote from Ripple would make sense. It could be the Conspirators trying for a WGG, but as Raven hadn't triggered any alarm bells for me, I'm happy to assume that that isn't the case. The one thing that messes with the analysis of the lynch is the new players. Not being used to us and the metagaming we have going on, if a couple of them were eliminators, teamed up with a (few) semi active more experienced player (or if they just decided to do their own thing, particularly with no doc during the day) I could see them piling on the lynch. I must say that at least for the moment, I'd be falling on the side of trusting Raven, and being suspicious of Stink. However, I'm tired, and want to spend some more time thinking about all this. So I'll come back to cast a vote at some point, hopefully not too close to turnover...
  6. I think most systems on Sel do, don't they? But due to Dominion, it manifests differently in different regions (so Aons in Elantris, Maipon gets Forgery, Bloodsealers somewhere else, the Dahkor with their thing)
  7. Yeah, I've found that on my table. It's like it doesn't seem to sleep/hibernate (one of the two) properly or something. Hopefully that gets fixed sooner than later.
  8. Sorry for not being around for the last half of the previous cycle - Sunday morning over here, so I was out till just recently. Good job assassin! Ardent scanning Kipper sounds like a good idea. But now I should go read over the other thread to see if I missed anything. Edit: Oh... nothing much at all.
  9. To be honest, I'd be more suspicious of Ripple for placing the first vote after Hero than Lopen for placing the last. But really, my take on that 'Lunch Train' as Winter called it, was all our new players not realizing bandwagoning is frowned upon as a general rule.
  10. My vote tally was: Tally: Phattemer(5): Hero, RippleGylf, Alvom, Stink, Lopen Ripplegylf(3): Clanky, Raven, sart Honey Badger(2): Mailliw, Araris Wilson(1): Nobles Stink(1): Orlok Shallan(1): Haelbarde Raven(1): Winter Cloud Which lines up with what we got. So no vote shenanigans. Though, the late Seixa would have been one of the people who was capable of causing voting shenanigans, and he was obviously absent. Also, the Con Artist(s?) will be Worldsinger(s) for cycle 2.
  11. Got lucky on the symbol thing. But I take issue with the matching question about forgers. I'm pretty sure 'Resealers' are the state sanctioned surgery forgers, but Bloodsealers aren't Forgers. I was pretty sure that Bloodsealing is a different magic system...
  12. I guess my I'd be more interested in playing To Shatter a Shard because the last one sounded like a blast. But then, an Alcatraz one would probably be just as fun.
  13. Because you can never have too many vote tallies: Tally: Ripplegylf(3): Clanky, Raven, sart Honey Badger(2): Mailliw, Araris Phattemer(2): Hero, RippleGylf Wilson(1): Nobles Stink(1): Orlok Shallan(1): Haelbarde Raven(1): Winter Cloud Tally (with history): Wilson(1): Nobles, Stink{1} Stink(1): Araris{1}, Orlok Adamir(0): Hero{1} Winter(0): Raven{1} Shallan(1): Haelbarde Raven(1): Winter Cloud Honey Badger(2): Mailliw, Araris{2}, Ripple{2}, RippleGylf{3} Ripplegylf(3): Clanky, Raven{2}, sart Clanky(0): Ripple{1} Phattemer(2): Hero{2}, RippleGylf{4} Now to compare it with Alvron's. (Edit: Matches up, which is nice)
  14. There've been two occasions when family cats have gone missing for a while. One we didn't see for about 4 days (being my little sisters cat, she was extremely concerned), and another one was gone about a week, maybe be a bit more. Fortunately both turned up again, so hopefully the same applies with your cat.
  15. Just a reminder to add to Wilson's comment about role reveals - what's dangerous about revealing yourself as a Brightlord/lady is it lets eliminators narrow their focus on finding the roles they find dangerous. By revealing you have no role, you put allies with roles in greater danger as the eliminators can just ignore you (not a good thing when the village has useful roles).
  16. Someone who I'd like to hear from is Shallan. Not sure if I've actually had the chance to play with her in one of these games (or at least talk with) yet, but from what I've seen, I got the impression she'd likely have opinions on what's happened. I guess I'd have expected to have seen a post by now, though she's not the only one. Now it's possible she's just not had the chance to be on yet, but it'd be nice to hear what she has to say. For those who are curious (provided I've counted correctly): People not posted since game started: (11) Winter Cloud, Bort, little wilson, phattemer, Macen, Shallan, Paranoid King, Venture Mistborn, Feligon, a smart guy. People who posted Night 1 but not Day 1 so far: (2) Clanky, Seonid
