@Bard: Re: Pinchhitter - I believe I've talked to the same person as Lopen, and they also said to not tell them anything because the spec doc was spoiler free. And with pinchhitters in general, players going inactive ruins the game for the other players. It's much better to replace a player who is not going to be able to continue playing than leave them their inactive. It's not always possible though, but I think in a long game, it's worth doing. @Straw: I'd probably just stick posting with alignment in thread - if there are players you trust, you can tell them the roles of those you scan at night, and you're much more likely to tell a villager than either a DF or a corrupted, whereas in thread, you know for sure that both the corrupted and the DF's know. Bah. Vote tallies on mobile is painful. And thanks Elb. (Bah. Got distracted, and now I've got to do other things) Heh. This game has generated 1067 posts as of Day 3. For reference, the most posts in a game so far is LG15, at 1692 replies. The second most drops to 1301 replies, in LG12. So 3 days in, this games already has the 7th largest number of replies in SE history. I think that's pretty awesome. Okay, now to actually get some stuff done. Thoughts on Fain: Still working on suspicions on who I think could be Fain, although I’m thinking Elb isn’t (I’d like to think she’d have converted me by now ). I’m willing to wait to see what happens with corruptions over the next few cycles. We’ve gotten stupidly lucky so far. While possible, I’d be highly surprised if we happened to detain Fain by chance. I’d probably be more of a mind to believe Fain just decided not to corrupt someone this cycle. Or that they tried to corrupt Jaimee. Beyond detaining Jaimee every cycle and seeing if there a no more corruptions, not sure what we could do. Thoughts on Players: Mailliw73 Hasn’t had a good idea of Fain works – on the one hand, makes him less likely to be Fain, but on the other, he played the original version of this game. I’d probably lean on him not being Fain though. His other posts have contained advice for the village that I’d agree with. Has put votes on me for Mayor a few times, for some reason. The impression I’ve got from is that he’s village. Has also made a claim that he’s going to be 100% honest. I do have some questions for him regarding that, but they may have to wait till the night. Seonid Suspicious of Meta D1 due to quick vote on Sart, although backed off after Sart flipped Forsaken. From his other posts, I’m undecided. I’m sorta neutral. He has contributed some good thoughts, but nothing that stands out to me. I’d be surprised if both he and Meta were eliminators though. As far as the rest go, here's my reads off the top of my head: Elb: Slight village Aman: Village TheOnlyNyali: Slight village Meta: A bit DF Lopen: Neutral Everyone else, I've not really established an opinion on.

Finally got around to updating the quicklinks into the post I reserved near the start of cycle. Added a countdown this time too. I've got a bit of time now, so I'm going to try go through the player list and type up my thoughts on each player, looking back on all their posts. It may take me awhile...

@Lopen: Been trying to get a final programming assignment done, which I submitted ~15 minutes ago. And now it's the weekend. So I should finally have the time to actually sort through my thoughts on everyone.

I fully acknowledge that I've been neutral, and that does not help the village. I'm thinking I'm just going to have to go through the player list, and focus on each player one at a time, and write out my thoughts. Not sure if I can get that done for this cycle though...

So with Dreamwalkers - do they have to put in an order to hide in Tel'aran'rhiod? Or is it just automatic? Still a bit confused by the lack of DF kill, but I think I'm leaning towards the kill not being put in due to all the other living DF's putting in actions, and the person who was meant to put them in didn't get on in time to place them - that's certainly happened before, and to my mind seems more likely than the kill being blocked (confused as to why Elodin was detained, and it seems even less likely that he was both detained and hit with the DF kill, unless I'm missing something). Although, if someone did roleblock someone, I suspect they'll wait and claim during the night, or wait for more information.

Okay, looking back over the discussion around Elodin, I'm thinking I'd lean towards Elodin being village. Not enough that I'd stop him from getting lynched, but I don't think I'll be voting for him. I'll review the thread some more. Also, going to vote Wilson for Mayor.

Some the best RP of LG14 (in my opinion) came as a result of me deciding to write evil!RP because everyone mistakenly believed I was Odium. It's was certainly fun. More for my personal reference: The story with the various redirects and stuff was: Straw claimed to have scanned Elodin, but was blocked (or at least his action was unsuccessful). He was not detained, but rather Elodin claimed to be detained, which would answer the reason for Straw's action to fail. Nyali claimed to have attempted to redirect Bard to Elodin, but we later found out that that failed. Bard claims that he didn't put in an action, which would be the reason why the redirect failed. No DF kill, means either it wasn't put in, or was caused to fail. So either Elodin put in the kill order, or he was attacked (well, these seem to be the most likely). Purely looking at those interactions of claimed actions, I'd lean towards Elodin being village, but I need to go back and read cycle 1 and get a better idea of the general view of Elodin before I could decide one way or the other. Job for the morning, I'm afraid.
