  1. @Darkness Ascendant Making fabrials that power the cognitive knot sounds like something God's Own Hate might do... Edit: @Wonko the Sane Bugsy picked it up on Scadrial, and then worldjumped to Sel, to give someone a bottle of water, but was then lynched/killed, so it dropped again (I would assume).
  2. Woo! And on my birthday no less! *Starts digging through docs to find my parodies* Is it better to link to docs or posts, or throw stuff in spoilers here? Long Game 14 Parodies Confrontation (Les Miserables) RP'd parody done in game. Link to thread What Have I Done (Les Miserables) Do You Hear The People Sing? (Les Miserables) Stars (Les Miserables) - Link Ballad of Serenity (Firefly) - Link Anniversary Game 7 Parodies Highstorm (Wellerman) - A chronicle of the events in the 200 page Roshar 5/6 world doc. The Bloated world doc? (The Drunken Sailor) - bemoaning the aforementioned 200 page world doc. Other Parodies Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen) For QF15, referencing the signup RP. Orange was me, Green was The Only Joe in the Bush, Blue was Elbereth, Purple was Burnt Spaghetti I See Fire (Ed Sheeran for The Hobbit) Commemorating the conclusion of LG12 - Blue is Little Wilson, Purple is Burnt Spaghetti, Green was me, black was chorus Mad World (Tears for Fears) My perspective of MR7 SE Art The following were made to commemorate LG12. The Aon, to recognise the newly crowned Brightness Ascendant, is the Aons Ehe (Fire), Omi (Love), and Teo (Royal) interposed on top of each other, all attributes of the Brightness Ascendant. This banner was created during LG12, showing my support for Wilson and the Brightness Ascendant. But once the game concluded in flames, with my character being burnt to death, the banner was likewise burnt. Keteks Keteks are fun to compose, and I've been pretty happy with how some of them have turned out, as I've written them for SA games. 3. Again, if you can use Sand Mastery or you can use the collaborate action, I would appreciate someone coming to Taldain. @Sart How are you doing with that goal of yours. I'll have spare actions, I think, next cycle, if you wanted to come to Taldain.
  4. Nyali, you had me worried for a moment. It didn't say Night 6.
  5. They say not to bring a knife to a fight, but what about a shardblade?
  6. @Wonko - I have one goal complete, the item would fulfil another, but the last goal needs a minimum of five more cycles to complete, and likely more. So I'd wager you're better off finding someone else to kill. Curious, has Orlok done anything this game?
  7. @Lopen, I don't need it back necessarily, but I do need to a random unique item. Should you get your hands on one, I've another relatively useful item I'd also be happy to give you for it in addition to letting you keep the gun.
  8. PSA: A thief on Roshar last cycle stole a gun from me - the gun is a one use kill item. Edit: And anyone have any idea about attacks on locations? Edit 2: Don't suppose anyone anyone would care to come to Taldain so I can either interview them or collaborate with them?
  9. Really the thing is that everyone's goals tend to be action focused, and actions are usually restricted to your current world. So stuff is more done in PMs.
  10. @Aman Well, glad I wasn't a Shard or Champion then. Probably worth everyone knowing, Bugsy just picked up what is believed to be a Trellium Spike (it's definitely a spike anyway).
  11. So Aman, curious about what you did last cycle?
  12. I didn't get attacked to my knowledge.
  13. Sorry guys for not being around to post - yesterday was the last day of uni for the next two weeks, and I had a ton of stuff to get done. Given there's only two hours left, I'm probably not going to vote this cycle, unless I get a good proper read through of the thread done, and feel strongly enough about a player.
  14. Another concern. If we have Odium, Honor, and Cultivation all running around, and Odium has to break Honor and Cultivation, for example, Odium suddenly has limited his search to a handful of players.
  15. Yeah, my old one was designed to be square, but square avatars aren't a thing anymore, apparently... So I refreshed it! Much happier with it, I think.
  16. So my character will be Orik Ironfist. He's a shortish stocky fellow with a long red braided beard, sometimes, but is always wearing a green cap with a red feather in it. He always comes across as an amiable fellow, happy to make new friends. Fancies himself a bit of a collector, and has an eye for something shiny. He's currently searching for the thief who stole a special piece of his collection of trinkets.
  17. Burnt sold me enough on the concept of this to get me to temporarily dehiatus and join this game without reading the rules. Wait while I roll some dice...
  18. Well, I figure the books might have other stuff in them, maybe. And the in-world artefact itself wouldn't have any narrative in it...
  19. Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy?
  20. I'm familiar with being able to win, but having inactive teammates. This one was just annoying because the game was won, really, but it was pure chance that it didn't... Ah well. It'd have made a nice game to leave on - I'll be going on hiatus from the shard for the coming semester of uni. Do you mean Fain? From memory, Lopen also made some comment about it being amusing if I were fain too. The viewer claim seemed more plausible than roleless or aiel-blooded. We already had 3-4 aiel-blood claims, and a roleless claim sorta puts you under suspicion as fain by default. Viewer had the advantage of not necessarily being the first thing people might expect Fain to claim, my past experiences as a scanner to play on, but also we'd only seen one viewer, and given the DF team, a 2nd viewer seemed entirely plausible.
  21. I spent the last cycles that I played trying to work out that interaction (I wanted to find me a Darkfriend) - It did come down to the ruling that trying to redirect a non-existent action is regarded as an action failing, while someone (you maybe, or possibly Elodin) had suggested in thread that that action would count as a success, which never got denied by Gamma in thread at the time. Then once Joe took over, he never clarified.
  22. From memory, your vote would have been insurance, in case a villager who hadn't voted Aonar got on and did so last minute, but it was Jaime's double vote that we needed, so there's no need ti concern yourself - I don't think your vote would have changed anything. Those people weren't on though, and even if the lynch were tied, which may have been the case, I think all it would have done is delayed our victory by a turn.
  23. Yeah :'(. Nevermind me pretending we won. If I tell enough people who believe that I won, that becomes the truth right!? Something Aonar didn't end up bringing up, when he took over for me was my awful record of being a scanner - QF7 (a game in which most players had powers) I managed to scan all the powerless players, AG2, I scanned all the smokers, and didn't find a single spiked, and I think there was a third game I did just a poorly... Point was, me having awful luck with my scans would be well in character. And it'd also explain why I was so cautious about trusting anyone - why claim when you have the luxury of actually knowing for certain what alignment someone is? And indeed, well done Jaime. Apologies for throwing you in the deep end in your first game.
