I know that, but due to his power, she shouldn't have even gotten close. He would have been able to push the iron out of her blood.

Oh I hope! Spook is my favourite character in Mistborn. I named my dog after him

I'm gonna read ALL the Cosmere books again
-
I just assumed Roshone ate the letter or something, or there was no return address. That fits MUCH better

THIS MUST BE TRUE

It has occurred to me that the Lord Ruler had FULL MISTBORN powers as well as FULL FERUCHEMIST powers. Not to mention Hemalurgy AND access to almost all metals. Being a full Mistborn + full Feruchemist means that he could Duralumin-Flare-Hemalurgy-Compound-Ultimate-Healing. Not to mention EVERYTHING ELSE. He could store ultimate weight and EXPLODE Kredik Shaw as well as probably most of the world. With that much power, how could he even possibly let Vin get close to him? He could probably just use Chromium as luck and Vin would just die spontaneously or loose her powers or something. Was he really that sure of himself that he couldn't kill her, or was he tired of living? Did he want to die?

I'll buy it. I am starting to think that Hesina went to stay with her parents because of the oppression of Roshone, and they may or may not have sent Lirin away. I doubt it, but it might be a good reason why they live in Hearthstone rather than wherever Lirin lived. Maybe when Kaladin gets to Hearthstone and finds them gone, he has to go to Kholinar first, rather than go looking for them. Maybe this is the third oath? "I will protect those I must, rather than those whom I want" or something along those line. More poetic, probably.

What's harder, Keteks, or Sonnets?

What a r e the most important words a man can speak?
Khyrindor replied to Nahema's topic in Stormlight Archive
I think the words are the oaths. It isn't Voidbinding because of what Nalan/Darkness said to Lift about "Dabbling in arts that could return the Desolations to the world." This fits because I think Gavilar was a Radiant. Maybe not of course, but entirely possible. Also: It fits for me anyway. -
One of the first wagon Chapters with Kaladin

Laral SHALL be an important character. Hopefully Kaladin will "protect" her from Roshone.
-
Also, most Keteks are written like "words/words/words/words/words" Not a judgement, but...you know.
-
It allows for alterations. I don't know if it mentions that.

Yep, found it. I edited my comment.

Which one is the Full Lashing? Don't have the book handy. Thank you for the second part: You've filled in a couple of holes. If Szeth can bond an Honourblade, then he could have Nalan's (If the Adhesion thing is cleared up). By the way, can you put down a link to where it was cleared up? Want to see it for myself. I'll go see the Ars Arcanum now. EDIT: Nevermind, I remember when Szeth infused the door to the wall, so nevermind. It still seems weird that Nalan chose him as his ... Helper?

Firstly, this theory has many holes, so feel free to pick on them, or fill them in. We know that Szeth is a Surgebinder with Gravitation powers, but (as far as I know) we never see his supposed Windrunner Adhesion powers in use. Perhaps this is because he was a Skybreaker from the start. This would be a good reason for Nalan to 'retrieve' him. But you say, "Szeth has Jezrien's Honourblade!" Perhaps not. Maybe he had Nalan's Honourblade from the start (This is the hole). We know Syl thinks that It is an Honourblade, but I think that Kaladin getting Jezrien's Honourblade would be redundant. MUCH cooler for him to have a third power. There's also a lot of confusion with Taln and Dalinar, so there's a lot we don't know about them. Brandon says that you can't bond with them, and yet Szeth can summon/dismiss his (This is another hole), which may imply that he doesn't even have Nalan's. AND he doesn't have a spren, which means that he doesn't have Skybreakers' powers naturally. Am I missing anything? Now that Szeth UNBONDED his blade (according to Nalan) when he died, does that mean he lost whatever powers he had? Let's hope we get more information in book 3!

I missed it the first time too. And then I got the idea that Zahel was a world-hopper, and reread it. My response (second time): O.O When I realized he was Vasher I figured I should read Warbreaker again since I haven't for a few years.

What Wit said about Dalinar meeting him does kind of put a spin on things. I like the Idea that he is still alive though. Remember what Gavilar said about "You must find the most important words a man can say" and Dalinar couldn't find out what he was talking about beyond that Nohadon wrote it? Makes me think Gavilar had some idea as to his whereabouts. The WoB makes it seem like he is still alive, and the only thing I can think of that he isn't is that he decided to do a bit of trolling. We have to ask ourselves (and maybe Aiel) if we have met him and what lead him to believe this. Upvote!
