Brandon said Peter can canonify Renarin's eye colour, and if you haven't yet answered, please please do.

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
Khyrindor replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
Caution: A non-spoilery line from Firefight is referenced in this post. When you hear that "The average person speaks 20000 words per day, that's enough to fill a book!" And your response is: "Well sure, if you wanted to be a pedestrian with your books." -
I'm pretty sure its allomancy and Brandon is just being a troll.

Stormlight Archive Reread [Updated: 02/27/2015]
Khyrindor replied to Frosted Flakes's topic in Stormlight Archive
I also wonder where Eshonai would have gotten her plate and blade from. It talks about how all of them are basically accounted for, so it would make more sense if it had been in her family for generations. -
Brandon has also said we have seen a Worldhopper from Roshar, and since Mraize has a babsk, I'm thinking we've seen him before, or we've seen another.

Ivy might be Amanda Tapping, who played Samantha Carter in Stargate SG1.

It wouldn't be possible without atium.

All the Lighteyes nowadays descended from Radiants, I believe. Investiture would seem to grant one Lighteyes, or at the very least, a bond of some kind would. So that would mean that, if Surgebinding is biological, then it could come from any family line, not just exclusively Dalinar's.

I'll take them all. -

I think NOT using Szeth as the flashbacks would be a wasted opportunity since we won't know everything that happened when he confronts the Shin. I'd like to see him the most, because I'm really interested in Shin and I haven't seen enough of it. Dalinar would be good as well. There is something big that no one knows about in his past. Also shshshshshshsh will probably appear and we will get answers on that. If the book has more Dalinar than Szeth I would equally like it. Eshonai's back story would hopefully reveal more of the Listener's motives to killing Gavilar, their gods and such. I don't know enough about the Listeners to make a guess as to what else we'd see.

You ninja'd me back there Voidus. I found it, I will use what you have there and make an ongoing plot timeline for the series.
-
I looked for timeline but all I found was the Words of Radiance one.

Gavilar has maps made in 1167, so he was alive for at least part of that year. There are references to his erratic behavior in the months before his death, so if the maps were made in the beginning of that year, then he died in that year. I want to make a Timeline for both of the books, including flashbacks. Thank you for your help.

As the title asks?

Peter probably opened this, chuckled, and went elsewhere.

Calamity (The Reckoners #3) Takes Place in Atlanta
Khyrindor replied to Argent's topic in The Reckoners
I love these people. Continue. -
Likewise, Brandon wrote a story about school debt and gave it to his friend Pat. Things were added and edited and edited and The Kingkiller Chronicles was born.

Um From what I understand is that the second will be the one with 80's tech, and the third with future tech. AoL era is separate from these, with 1920's tech I think it is. They are meant to show history of Scadrial post HoA and pre 2nd trilogy, with fun characters.

I don't think he would want to be apart from her. Wherever she is, he can talk to her. If he resurrected her, they would lose each other.

David I agree could be an unknown. Megan as well. If she was played by a 'more important' actor than David's then they would focus too much on her. Prof has to be Liam Neeson. Firefight: I really have no clue for Cody or Abraham. They are too unique. Torri Higginson for Tia but she would have to dye her hair red. She did great as the 'desk job' in Stargate Atlantis. Elizabeth Mitchell would also be good, but would have to be a little less cheerful than what I've seen her play. I personally like the Man of Steel as well for Steelheart. That would just be perfect really. For Firefight characters:

Just reading Firefight right now to music, and Monster by Skillet happened to come on. It is perfect as a themesong for Prof. Just something I noticed. Happy Sharding! This secret side of me, I never let you see, I keep it caged but I can't control it. So stay away from me, the beast is ugly...
