  1. FEAR

I wish to sleep. I know now why you do what you do, and I hate you for it. I will not speak of the truths I see.

-Kakashah 1173, 142 seconds pre-death. A Shin sailor, left behind by his crew, reportedly for bringin them ill luck. Sample largely useless.

I think this points to a more singular entity then spreen personally.

Or that could be the sailor yelling at the spren giving him a message. Furthermore, we already know of the existence of death spren, who could be the ones giving the messages. This theory is interesting, but as of right now, there isn't any way to prove or disprove it.

  2. Well, the F sound, Y sound, L sound, and one of the G sounds could be glyph (glyf).  That would leave a K sound, G sound, A sound, I sound, and a D sound.  If it was Figglmygrak then it could me Magic Glyph or Glyph Magic, but it is a D sound not an M sound, so no.

    So, K...G...A...I...D.

It looks like you forgot the R in your solution, giving us I..G...D...G...R...A...K

    I can form that into...

DARK GIG (gig being a type of spear)

    or...

GAG DIRK (dirk being a large dagger/small sword)

If we scramble nonsense to noneness (it's not a real word, but it sounds cool), we have ...

noneness shardblade: gag glyph dirk (shardblades silence people?)

    or...

noneness shardblade: dark glyph gig (a dark shardblade of some sort?)

I'm not sure what this all means, and I'm probably wrong, but it still is a cool translation.

  3.       Hello from St. Louis. I'm a high-school student, who has recently found Sanderson. I've read most of his works except for the Wheel of Time series (I don't have time to read them) and Steelheart (I'm working on that).

I should probably give you a little bit of information about myself. I've read a lot of YA novels (except Twilight, I refuse to read that), but Brandon Sanderson is one of my first introductions to Adult fantasy. I lurked around Shurtugal for a while, but after the final book came out in the series, it wasn't the same. I browsed Game of Thrones forums for a bit, but I never got involved. I'm really looking forward with interacting and chatting with you guys.

            See you soon,

                    a smart guy
