  1. Sir, your blatant hypocrisy is apparent in your every word: You pay these skaa you detest, you call the seat of the Sliver a lesser city to our humble Urteau; you even hire me to negotiate prices for my collegues' services - my kind of person entirely! A good day to you sir, and may we meet frequently, as I charge by services rendered.
  2. awesomefounts of awesomesomeness,
  3. I am quite glad he's gone of 'is rocker over in Luthadel; we're perfectly safe here in Urteau then, sirs and madames, are we not?
  4. Fear him. His strength is as twenty, his banhammer a weapon to slay tenscore posts. He sees all, and knows more. He is the descent of the universe, he is the state of lifeless void we cannot know. He is Chaos.
  5. I don't know... did tLR's experiments, organized government, transportation system, etc. count enough to not be considered "the dark ages"?
  6. Don't threaten with kittens. Threaten with Catquisitors. I'm serious. Put Kurk behind a coinshot, line him up with the target, and give that Allomancer a nicroburst. The adorableness will only compounded by the blood!
  7. On the behemoth problem: Each cycle can be a seperate thread this time! Yay! On the backstory: Heheh. I think that was my second cousin you kicked out; never liked her anyways.
  8. What was Rubix's issue with the first one, by the way?
  9. Sorry, Kurk.... I'll just glue my foot to my esophagus, k?
  10. Just because BS says it's a bad thing, it's not definitively bad unless, in universe, it makes you bad without exceptions. It might be a bad idea, but is not morally impermissible: Brandon is only a moral authority in-universe if he chooses to exercise that power in-universe.
  11. I think Meta mentioned he wanted to call it Sanderson Elimination, so as to leave it open to different games based on different books.
  12. That sounds manageable, Kurk. Also, may I suggest changing your title to your character for the duration of the game?
  13. End of SA around AoL era -> Odium banished from Roshar, sets plans in motion -> Modern Mistborn trilogy, hints of Odium appear (influencing mad mistborn killer), possibly sent back to Braize as climax -> ? -> Third Mistborn Series, Odium's plans come again (adjusted for the new space-age), set in the interaction between Roshar and Scadrial That's a tentative and unproven timeline
  14. Maybe the dead can pass one message per night to a player of their choice, but have to relay it through the GM, who can obscure the identity of the dead, or distort the words, or even block it? The GM could even give hints to the dead, who can try to pass them back to the living - as long as the GM approves.
  15. Can we stipulate that dead players have to post in light gray? It lets the unfortunates keep speculating - call them ghosts.
