I'm pretty sure the "all or nothing" approach to metal burning is pretty arbitrary. It's a limit to constrain the system, as per Sanderson's somethingth law of magic.

If he were to list his lists, he would need more lists to list the lists of lists he had, and more to list the lists of lists of lists, and yet more ad infinitum. A dangerous path to tread.

I bet rivers look really weird in Shadesmar: meandering isthmi like raised roads pushing through seas of black glass beads. Are spren cities built around them? What about mountains? Do those coincide with valleys beneath the ocean of glass?

Allomantic pewter Feruchemical iron twinborn with a literal wingsuit and a lightweight tank filled with a pewter emulsion in water and sippy tubes. This is flight.

The shardpool could be below the sea, allowing liquid power to mix with the water and soak into the landscape.

If it's not too much trouble, and if you have time, want to do the voidbinding glyphs too?
-
Haha, thanks. I saw the new glyphs, and I loved them, but I like my fishy too. I compromised.

Well, you could have three factions: honorspren, cryptics, and corrupted(who can be either cryptic or honorspren as well). Only the corrupted know what they are. Any spren can examine any other once per night to find out whether that spren is good or bad, and the corrupted can kill one spren collectively by voting in a separate doc or electing a leader or something. The thing is, investigating a cryptic always gives you a false result, and investigating an honorspren always gives you a true result. Each day, there is a vote on who is banished to the Physical realm. The game ends when every corruptionspren is dead. Other Roles could be rotspren(choose a target one night, dies the next), deathspren(kill one every night), lifespren (protect), fearspren(take away another spren's night action), Axies(who investigates for cryptic, honorspren, or other rather than for good or evil), windspren(who can switch one pair of spren for a night action)

This could be a great mechanic for an AoL game. Of course, then we would have to make a twinborn mechanic.

Honestly, that sounds quite overpowered, or useless depending. I would make it so the Feruchemist can never vote more than twice. Another feruchemical ability?Gold(blood maker): One night, you store. Any attack this night is deadly, if a lurcher protects you, you still only have a 75% chance of surviving the attack. The preceding nights, you get the same ability as the Thug: survive an attack. Bronze(sentry):You spend a day and night turn unable to perform any actions or vote, but can choose to either kill or protect someone any turn afterwards. Pewter(brute): you can sacrifice a vote for the ability to kill a single member after you die. Aluminium(Soulbearer): the"democracy" effect. Others. Basically, these all involve risk, losing actions, or both, and the feruchemist can only store or tap once per cycle. Therefor, despite his versatile repertoire, the feruchemist will only end up using a few abilities depending on the situation, and gets his vote cut out often. In other words, he is quiet, unassuming, and deadly when he needs to be. Just like the Terris stewards!

It'll be interesting with the whole -each order getting two Surges thing-. That could make an interesting mechanic, as long as its done right.
