    So Lopen, if you at least believe me about having a single bead of lerasium, then you know that I totally control the lynch this cycle, since I can sooth 2 people and riot 2 others. Actually the 2 riots is enough to stop any lynch attempt on me, since I can force a 4-0 vote to become a 2-2. That would also have a nice side effect of giving me control over anybody with spikes, which means SD and any Kandra plus the last spiked. So I would also control the lynch for the remainder of the game, and then lynching you would probably be my best step to take right now since you (so far as I know) don't have a spike, so using duralumin this cycle would mean I lose control over you for the next cycle. So lets just not go there?

    Ok, so I guess I'm leaning towards lynching Burnt. I don't really know who to be suspicious of at this point, and it seems pretty certain that the Spiked made a conversion at some point, seeing as 5 spiked with 17 players seems a tad bit unbalanced to me. Also, if the last spiked (or any Kandra) want to duel me, I am in room A2 right now.

    Um, you guys know how there was a rules clarification about finding two bead of lerasium? Well, that just became relevant . I don't think it is possible for us to lose the game at this point, haha.

    Yeah, I probably would too. At this point, the person with the Hazecrusher can win by themselves if they are a villager, so vigilanteness is probably the most fun thing for them to do. And I'm going to vote for STINK, since his low activity levels match the lack of an eliminator kill the last two nights.

    I say lets kill Danosaur, since he hasn't been on in a while. Also, I don't quite get the harmonium thing. Is it an item, or a secret role, or what? (or a joke?)

    Hey, finally somebody decided to vote for real. Yeah Mark, I totally see where you are going with that post and I actually pointed that out as one of the minor flaws in the whole plan, in my post last cycle. I guess the main thing I have going for me is that I am never an active participant in PMs, which most players on here should be able to attest to. So my lack of PMs is not a strategy but more of a playstyle. Arraenae, that post wasn't really that helpful, IMO. This is going to sound a bit agressive (maybe), so be warned. Anyway, that very thing just got discussed in the previous posts this cycle. So yeah. Also, I really don't like how a lot of our in thread discussion has been about PMs. As I mentioned before, lots of SE games don't have Uber Tin. And the village has won a lot of them. Consider the AG, which has never been won, where there is not any PM restriction until the Tineyes are all dead. (Everyone complaining about PMs can also just, you know, send one... It's not like you don't have power to change the situation a few clicks away.) Also, the current reliance on the Windwhisperer isn't making the game all that fun, to be honest. By the Lord Ruler, I want to be killing people! So basically anybody that has been complaining about not having PMs is on the tippy top of my suspicion list.

    I guess I am somewhat bloodthirsty this game. I would also like to note that by saying what I did about my PM intentions, it would be very easy for me to be an eliminator that is just gonna sit back and possibly never get scanned. I don't think operation Windwhisperer is a perfect plan, and I am pretty sure that it will only be able to find a single Spiked, but I won't say why because then it definitely will have that limitation. Also, because of the slowness of seeking roles, we need the lynch discussion and results so that when we find an eliminator, we can try and draw out who their partner(s) might be before their alignment is revealed. But I seriously don't get why everyone is sad/mad about PM silence. I mean, a lot of games don't have Uber Tin, and some don't have any sort of PMing at all. I have never found an eliminator through my own PMs in all the games I have played (which is quite a few, although that might be from lack of trying). Additionally, this PM silence should somewhat enfore PM Safety, which I am a proponent of, because in my last game as an eliminator our team struggled a lot not knowing who had kill roles in the village, so our own kill ability was less effective.

    Well, the players I feel would represent our community best are: Meta, Kasimir, Renegade, Wyrmhero, Gamma Fiend I would also vote for Wilson and Alvron, because they are super awesome to have in games as well.

    Guys, can we kill someone this cycle? For starters, this is SE, the whole point of which is to ruthlessly kill as many people as you can in an effort to find the eliminators. And since we all know our own alignments, lets lynch an inactive, who wouldn't be any of us here discussing the lynch. At this point, I would wait till the end of the cycle and then switch my vote to kill somebody, but there isn't even a second vote for me to stack on... And the fact that nobody has been supporting me makes me think that possibly there is an inactive eliminator, since otherwise this is just an extra kill for them.

    I'm gonna vote for Danosaur, because he never responded to me last cycle and has yet to post this cycle. There are only so many of us, and while I understand that we already found an eliminator, that just forces the eliminators to have to protect themselves more if one of them comes up in a lynch. In the worst case, I say that this cycle we should at least lynch an inactive player, since if there are any eliminators among those then this game could really drag on.

    So last cycle I made a big deal about sleeping (or tried to at least), and that was enough to get a few people to place votes, but I don't think anyone actually gave a direct response to what I said. So what do you all think about sleeping in general during the night, and about Ama openly both not sleeping and giving his location away? And my personal opinion is that players should not reveal whether or not they have slept, because then their votes (for those who haven't slept) completely lose all meaning.

    Ok, I guess I'll go for Danosaur next. Please place votes guys, since it is important to know who slept and who didn't (although, if you didn't sleep, don't mention that in the thread until the next cycle, because then at least your vote seems like it is accomplishing something). That is another piece of information we can use to find out the eliminators.

    OK guys, there are less than 10 hours left in the cycle, and only 5 votes have been placed. I would really prefer that everyone place a vote. I personally want a Day 1 lynch, but we could also just spread the votes around. The thing is, the spiked can take 50% extra actions by not voting, while the village can't do that, because we have to be able to use the lynch to kill people. So the only way we can take that advantage from the spiked is to get everyone, or nearly everyone, to place a vote each cycle to prove that they are actually sleeping and not searching tons or whatever. Ada, thanks for placing a vote, Wonko, if you don't vote then I will vote against you before the end of the cycle. SilverDragon, please place a vote.

    Thank you Ada. (I thought we had a bunch of new players this game, but I guess everyone changed their usernames and portraits...) And I somewhat agree with the sentiments against Wonko; he was the other candidate for my vote.

    Hey guys, I don't have tons of time today, and should probably be doing homework right now, but I think that we should go for a Day 1 lynch this game, and I have a good reason for it that I will probably share at a later time. This is still a Mafia game though (even though cool powers and savantism are awesome), and the best way for us to win and bypass any OP item effects is through the lynch. To that effect, I will vote on Amanuensis. I find it suspicious that you are so open about aiming for becoming a savant. I personally don't think that sacrificing your vote for (probably) 4 turns and your ability to look for items and making your location obvious to the rest of us is really a good idea at all. Now, one thing that you can do is place a vote, which will be useful so that we can confirm you at least didn't sleep, although that would be kind of a silly lie to tell. Maybe I'll be back on tonight, but I doubt it.

    That's how it worked, but they also show up in scans as spiked, so that kinda stinks for them.

    I loved being a Kandra the first iteration of this game, and look forward to playing it again. I'm hoping my schedule clears up a bit, since it has been inhibitive for HttFE and the awesome University LG. But the cycles are pretty darn long in this one, so I'll sign up as ArSel, a guy that is totally normal but got a funny name from his parents. That combined with his superior height and awesome red hair have caused others to discriminate against him out of jealousy.

    Well, I totally was busy this week and didn't really have time for this, so yeah. Sorry Wyrm, and other players, for not giving your game the time it deserves... Actions 1-3: What: Do nothing Why: Because the Ministry still rusting hates House Penrod after 100 storming years and thus my nefarious plots are foiled before reaching fruition. Or I just forgot.

    I am not a skindancer. That is a bit odd Lopen, since my PM from the GMs says I still have 21 in Archives. And as for thoughts on player alignment, I guess I am leaning towards suspecting Haelbarde in light of what Lopen just posted. I understand that he may not have wanted to give away his elevations, but that is easy to get around without telling a lie; just say you don't want to tell. Especially if you are innocent, getting caught in a lie about your roles just makes things awkward for the village, even without having a scan role that is dependent upon players being truthful all the time.

    Hey cool, we found a skindancer! You know, I'm not really on top of this game enough to have known that Burnt was scanning people, but I don't think I would have been any more suspicious of her than any other scanner. I'm also curious about how many skindancers you guys think there are total. I know we talked about this a bit before, and people were thinking around 5. Is that still the general idea everyone has? I was a bit against there being that many at the start, since a lot of us died/went insane so fast without any success, but now the game seems like it could handle that many and still be pretty balanced. Also, as noted in my apology, I do have a protection role that I can use, although it won't help with people Naming a lot.

    Somewhere, Amari had found a soapbox, and decided that if he needed to apologize publicly, he might give at least an attempt at humor. He was going to be way too embarrassed as it was. He set up the box in a courtyard, then stepped upon it to read his carefully prepared speech. "Fellow students! Today, we celebrate the eleventy-first apology! I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like all of you more than half of what you probably deserve." The only other occupant of the courtyard, a crow, cawed at him as if in disdain, and then left. They said the apology needed to be public. Well, anyone could hear this if they wanted to. Not my fault they didn't show up. "I am here today to apologize for two offenses, the first of which you are likely to forgive, although the second is unfortunately something of an ongoing situation. Firstly, I would like to apologize for refusing to care for Wilem in the Medica. I was approached by him, and he anticipated death, asking for help. I honestly might have given him attention, but in the end his behavior to the fine female scholars among us was so deplorable that I refused him aid, which led to his death. Of course, this is presuming that my skills would have been up to the task, which is a matter of some dispute." Amari cleared his throat, and then continued. "The second matter is a bit graver. I have been noticeably absent from the efforts to seek out skindancers in the recent months. My only excuse, that of classes, is a poor one, for if the University falls, what classes will I take? But if I fail my classes, the University will no longer be open to me regardless. So that iss my dilemma, and I can say that I have been given leave by my instructors to take leave of my classes for the next week to more fully investigate this matter, and attempt to put the University back together in whatever means I can. Good day to you all. Oh, and I am not a skindancer." Amari stepped off of his soapbox, and then turned with a start as he heard enthusiastic clapping from behind himself. His face flushed red as he realized that someone had actually heard his apology, and he quickly bolted off towards his room in the Mews.
