  1. Alain stood outside his house, splitting logs for firewood and pondering on the day's events. The Mayor had been murdered, and of course the whole town was in an uproar about Darkfriends being responsible. Alain wasn't quite so sure though. Sometimes, the noisy solution wasn't the right one. Still, the village had made its decision, and he would go along. Alain paused at his work and turn his axe slowly around in his hands. He had a bad feeling that before this was all over, it would be chopping more than lumber. So I guess the two things that have stood out to me the most are similar statements that Seonid and Nyali made. Both of them went after Meta for being quick to place a second vote on a player. But that is how you lynch somebody; by placing multiple votes on them. So both of those posts struck me as something to detract from the early parts of the lynch discussion by discouraging people to actually move the vote toward a definite lynch.
  2. I'm gonna vote for Aman. Now, this is largely inspired by Lopen's long post, which I agree with. I haven't done hardly anything this game (sorry guys), which means that I shouldn't merit much of a read outside of meta reasons. Now, that leaves me feeling pretty uncomfortable whenever somebody actually gets a read on me, which Aman seems to have. I also have been rethinking Mailliw. My post earlier should have sounded like I was suspicious of him, since I was and am. But considering the end of the game, I actually agree that killing people is a good thing, otherwise everyone is just going to lose. (Or, if there is a hidden faction, they probably win if the game ends without one of the known factions winning). Additionally, since Mailliw wanted Aman dead, it wouldn't make sense for them to both be traitors. Edit: I started writing this several hours ago, but I'm having a really hard time focusing. Point is, I was unaware of the last 4-5 posts that had been made here.
  3. Yeah, so if SD claims that he didn't attack Conquestors, then there is a T3 metalcrafter on the eliminator's team that is either SD or an unknown party, but cannot be me, since I have been roleblocked. Now, that doesn't rule out the possibility of there being 2 T3 metalcrafters on the Traitor team, but it does mean there is no reason to roleblock me based on meta alone. Also, just to put this out in the open, Mailliw contacted me, implying that if I would attack Aman then he could try and get the roleblock off of me. I refused, since I don't have a specific reason to distrust Aman at this point, but I did find it curious that there are (apparently) people that trust me to make a kill, but don't want to say anything about my alignment in the thread.
  4. Haha, so Hellscythe you accidentally saved yourself by redirecting my kill to Seonid. Okay, so is anyone else wondering why C1 we had 2 metalcrafter attacks, but since I have been roleblocked, there have been none? I don't get why the other swordsman decided to make a kill Turn 1 but hasn't since, especially considering that we now have more information about players, so vigilanteness is less harmful to the village.
  5. Okay guys, here is what I have. It's not a full player list, but it sums up everything that stood out to me reading through the first two cycles. Here is a spoiler with the notes O made for myself, and I'll elaborate. So right away, Conquestor and Hellscythe both seem suspicious to me, since I made a really lame, noncommittal response to what Joe posted, which is a perfectly good reason to suspect me, and yet both of them said their votes had no reasoning behind them. Gamma came off as suspicious to me as well for saying something noncommittal about what Joe posted, but I don't want to point a finger here since I had a very similar response, and agree that priority lists both are usually useless and might have a place in this game. Lopen pointed out my comments to Joe as being lame, which seems like a pretty villlagery thing to do. And since HS and Conquestor both failed to point that out, I doubt Lopen would be an eliminator on the same team as either of them. Bugsy seems pretty suspicious to me for managing to derail the thread a bit with discussion of hidden roles and the like. Phatt and Winter both seemed willing to accept that hidden roles could be super influential in the game, which I find also to be suspicious, since we have no evidence anywhere that something like that might exist. Derailing the thread is just not helpful. I think that it is fairly likely that the traitors have a second kill, due to all the redirection, roleblocking, and kill roles that are potentially floating around this game. That being said, so early in a game I strongly disagree with using roles to determine who gets lynched. This is primarily in response to Lopen, who is suspicious of me because of my T3 metalcrafting. If you guys think I'm suspicious because of my role, then please kill me during the night (just get 3 people working together, not too hard ). But if you lynch me because of my role, you won't get any useful information. Mailliw came off as suspicious to me in his exchange with Joe. But I just don't like his playstyle in general, of hoarding information and so forth, so I'm not really sure about this one. It does seem unlikely based on this exchange that both Joe and Mailliw are eliminators. So that is a decent summary of my thoughts so far. I'm gonna vote Conquestor I guess.
  6. I guess my public action is doing nothing. Finals were this last week, and my brother played in the state tennis tournament the day I got back, so life has been busy. But there is lots of time for this game for the next 3 months!
  7. Hey guys, I'm back, and I'm somewhat sleep deprived because trains are lame. Anyways, my attack was targeted at Hellscythe. I originally was not going to attack anyone, and my plan was to protect myself and Burnt, and to redirect from Gamme to myself, effectively protecting 3 people. But then HS voted for me with basically no reasoning, and I was grouchy and tired, so I changed my actions. I made an edit to one of my posts apologizing for anything that came out of that tired annoyance, which was supposed to imply that if HS died, I was behind it. And I backed that up with my vote last cycle as well. (I do need to go back and read what was said since that post, by the way). But I guess someone redirected all my actions to Burnt, because I protected her twice apparently, and attacked her once :/. I'll try and get back to this a bit more later.
  8. Well, I honestly don't think either Elodin or Joe is a good lynch at this point, although if forced to choose, I would probably say to lynch Elodin since I am more familiar with Joe, so if he is a traitor it might be easier to pick up in the long run. So I don't have too much to base that on. I guess I am suspicious of HS and Conquestor for poking on me, but maybe that is selfish. I just wanted to get some stuff down so that whatever happens the next 30 hours or so, you guys have a little to read on me. This will be my last post until Thursday.
  9. Um, neither of the people that voted for me have given any reason for their votes on me. I haven't even really done anything this game, except point out that you need level 2 earth crafting to have a protection role. And I mentioned that we should use protection roles, despite there being a chance that we protect a Traitor. I gave an explanation for that second point. And If you go back, I have somewhat (read as really super huge) pressing time commitments today and tomorrow. So poking me isn't going to do anything productive. Edit: And I'm somewhat tired and in an annoyed mood, so if this post seems annoyed, that is intentional. I apologize in advance for anything bad that results from my frustration.
  10. I figured that if someone was going to die as a result of my role, then I might as well make it somewhat thematic. I didn't even consider that other people might have the same role, haha. That's an interesting analysis you have there Joe. I think that I agree with it for the most part. Conquestor, just because there are traitors out there doesn't mean that we should sit back and not protect anybody. I mean, unless our Knights Ignis or Ferrous start going vigilante right away, the only kill out there belongs to the traitor team anyways. So protecting someone that is a traitor is no different from protecting somebody that is not targeted. I have 3 finals in the next 30 hours, followed by my need to pack up and ride on a train for another 30 hours where I will have no internet. So I will try and avoid the inactivity filter, but I will be low profile through Tuesday, and completely inactive Wednesday.
