  1. Thanks. That's a great little bit.
  2. I like this theory. At first, I resisted the idea that Szeth has Jezrien's Honorblade. I thought he was using voidbinding since he's the opposite of leading/protecting. But the more I think about it, the more I am convinced he has the Honorblade. It seems to fit and I love the irony. If it can power the order's abilities, that is a good explanation of Kalak's statement that Honorblades are superior to Shardblades. ( I wonder, can you voidbind, if you carry an Honorblade?) Have an upvote.
  3. Yeah, I agree it's kind of out there. And I'm not really convinced myself. It's the kind of thing you come up with when you have a few hours to waste.
  4. Oh, interesting. I never thought of that. Storm form does seem like it could be linked to lightning. On the other hand, there is WoB that the storms are of Honor like the mists were of Preservation. I'm still not certain Jasnah was right about the Parshendi.
  5. There might be a hint of a spoiler if you haven't read the Lift Interlude. I just noticed something interesting. Maybe other people aready saw this, but when Szeth is given his list of people to kill, the man turns the wall to smoke as he leaves. Nalan is associated with smoke. I'm starting to think he may be controlling Taravangian or at least working with him. They are both interested in stopping the Desolations from coming again if certain speculation is accurate. What do you all think? Edit: If this belongs in the Words of Radiance subforum, feel free to move it there.
  6. Welcome, it's great to have you here. Make yourself at home.
  7. One of my favorite parts was when Lift says she talks to herself because she's awesome. That made me laugh so hard. I hope we get to see her again. Also, I wonder why Rall Elorim is called the City of Shadows. Sounds sinister.
  8. The santhid looks really cool. I wonder if it will follow the ship Jasnah and Shallan take from Kharbranth.
  9. I assumed Yaezir was the Azish name for Jezrien. As to the "Herald of kings" comment, I think the Azish consider him the "patron" herald of kings since he was one, kind of like a patron saint. I don't have any facts to back up my opinion, it's just how I interpreted it.
  10. Welcome aboard. I also delurked partly to get hints for the steelhunt.
  11. Thanks for all the kind welcomes. I love this place.
  12. Hi, everybody. I have been a fan of Brandon Sanderson for just a few months and found 17th Shard a few weeks later. I finally decided to stop lurking. bookspren
