When you and a friend are talking about Ice Inquisitor Olaf and she suddenly bursts out with "Does that mean Elsa is Ruin?!" leading to an in-depth discussion of what Mistborn characters Frozen characters would be.
When one of your posts gets a "popular" star and you feel like you've won an Olympic medal.
When the first discussion you have with your brother after he returns from a trip goes like this:
Brother: There were some cracks so wide and deep they looked like chasms on the Shattered Plains!
Me: Did you see a chasmfiend?
Brother: Yes.
Me: Did you get a picture?
Brother: No, it was trying to eat me.
Me: Is that when you saw Kaladin?!
Mom: You guys are so weird.
When you spend three hours scrolling through the convoluted conversations on here, start laughing hysterically, and become really disappointed when you show them to others and they don't get the jokes.
...I never liked them anyway.
Hi! I'm new here too.
My first Sanderson books were Alcatraz, then I read Elantris. Best book I'd ever read. Then came Mistborn and now Way of Kings (which was fantastic!) and The Emperor's Soul.
What's your favorite Brandon Sanderson book?
