I like Washington and California beaches- they're just different types of pretty. Washington beaches (on the Sound, at least) are stretches of pebbles and gray water and clouds and trees and branches and if you're lucky a seal or orca. California beaches- vary. It's a big state. But the ones I was near had sand and dunes which are pretty awesome, I might say- and usually clouds and blue surf and the occasional otter.
Oklahoma beaches are nothin.
There's actually a sign on a hotel that says
"Beautiful ocean views!!!*
*just kidding".
Californians get pretty wimpy when it comes to cold, I must say. Though I can't be an impartial judge. I'm weirdly cold-resistant.
