I had most of it corrected in Photoshop already so I just had to move stuff around and re-export it. I intentionally left the sources as a psd so I can regularly update it.

I like the idea but it may be better to do it on a reread. I will probably zip through it in the first day or two and then go back and do a slow re-read to catch all the details I miss.

It was great meeting you too! It is exciting to share my love of all things Brandon with people who are just excited as me. My friends read his books but they don't LOVE them the way I do.

I am holding out hope that not all of them have been corrupted. I agree about Nalan and partially agree about Shallash. I don't think she is outright crazy, I think she hates herself to the point that she can't stand to see herself especially on a pedestal. I think there is a comment in the Prelude about them all being pretty broken and also a comment from Brandon reiterating that thought. I don't equate broken with corrupted though. Being tortured for thousands of years has to take a toll on the psyche but someone people are able to compartmentalize. I think there has been discussion that Palah is a woman wandering the streets of Kharbranth. I was going to look into it more this weekend.

Well considering the fact that she can stick a weapon in her safe pouch and no one will look there is probably nice as an assassin.

I think that is the purpose of the spreadsheet. The reason I had so many columns and have it sortable and filterable is so we can play with grouping and ungrouping characters seeing if there is commonality among them and begin to classify. We may be dealing with Surgebinders and Voidbringers on this table, eventually the data should point the differences out. Example: Is Szeth a Windrunner for certain? He doesn't have a Nahel bond. Are we sure he isn't a voidbringer which is characterized possibly by not bonding a spren but capturing it? We have the Heralds on the spreadsheet because they will potentially show the full range of abilities for each order and can help identify the orders. I can not edit the document while at work but I will do so as soon as I get home. We shouldn't have Dalinar in an Order yet and the only ones we can truly confirm in orders are Kaladin, Jasnah, Shallan, and Lift (says it right in the text).

To tell you the truth it is getting super hard to talk about the interlude without talking about the whole thing. People have been erring on the the side of caution and removing any information from the interlude other than the name of the character and her class since that has been confirmed by WOB. I would assume Steelhunt is coming to a close since tonight is Brandon's last stop on the tour. Hopefully, we will then get a code on Facebook or Twitter and it will be available to everyone and we can really start theorizing.

I don't think anyone is being ungrateful and I think everyone is appreciative for the information we have been given. I know I was just expressing my disappointment (this is too strong of a word and not quite right) that we had some information confirmed and was building theories and tables off of it. I think both Argent and I were trying to be funny and trying to get new info on the sly.

Hi guys! I went to Cem's chart and combined all the charts and added a couple of columns and a whole bunch of notes. Can we agree on one chart to use as the official one to update for the forum and work off that one? If it isn't Cem's, let me know so I can download it. I would then ask that we remove the ones that we don't go with from the thread and post the official one in the top post. Feel free to comment and add information to the charts. I think it will be a great way to see similarities and differences between the different surgebinders in an effort to find out more about them. The great thing about using google docs is that we can collaborate and have discussions (using comments) within the spreadsheet. I have started off with a few comments you may want to review and comment on. Please note that there are several sheets; one for viewing (no editing or comments shown), one with the surgebinder listing that is editable with comments, and one with the Orders with the information we know as of now (editable and comments).

Cem, Can you make it a document that is editable either by specific people, people with a password or public for now? I would like to make a few changes formatting wise and also add notes about the different characters. I think the notes section may end up having the most clues.

Everything in this thread so far has been revealed in reports from signings and is not exclusive to Steelhunt. That being said, it is getting hard to fully explain theories without including Steelhunt information.

I would sort the table by character and have different columns like: Name Order Order Confirmed (Y/N) Confirmed (Y/N) Shardblade (Y/N) Spren (Y/N) Spren Name 1st Ideal (Y/N) 2nd Ideal (Y/N) 3rd Ideal (Y/N) 4th Ideal (Y/N) 5th Ideal (Y/N) Surges Notes Any other suggestions? This way we can also filter based on lots of different information. I am at work right now and I can start building it and upload it to Google Docs as a spreadsheet later.

Have we started a database with all the surgebinders (suspected and confirmed) that we have run into and hints about them? Do we want to? It would be a great place to collect hints so we can begin guessing at different orders and who belongs where.

He did not correct those but he took the time to correct heat and was nodding as I was reading. He also corrected Travel to Transportation so I am almost absolutely positive those are correct.

Yes he confirmed everything but the spelling of else/elscallers. At first he got a little cagey about giving out any other information but then everyone started gathering around and listening so then he threw us a bone. Shardlet has the whole conversation recorded so we can review the conversation.

I very much doubt that I stole your thunder! I didn't get to any of the other questions you guys had. I can't wait to hear from everyone else who was at the signing. Shardlet was sitting by Brandon recording everything so I bet we get tons of juicy details.

Hold on to your hats, I have information for you. First I just want to comment on how incredibly kind and cool Brandon is. It was my first time meeting him and it was definitely a highlight. On to the good stuff, Brandon confirmed all the radiant orders on my chart as being correct and in the right place. He also provided the name of Jasnah's order. He also gave me the correct name for the force we were calling heat and gave me the name of a new force. I am about to correct the chart and will be posting it shortly. Also worldsingers is not an order but he RAFOd Brightcallers as an order. I didn't get a chance to ask any other questions because we had a little bit of discussion around the chart and confirmed also that the Heralds are all correct too. Also we need Peter to make sure that we spelled Jasnah's order correct as we didn't get an official spelling from Brandon. One other thing is that he was entirely certain but there was discussion around the colors matching correctly to the orders on the chart too. ETA: So here is the chart in all it's glory. It includes information that is in the Steelhunt but the info also became available at the Beaverton signing so I am including it. 2nd Edit: Typo and color matching too. 3rd Edit: Stonewardens to Stonewards The chart has been updated per Peter's notes about it later in this thread. Please note that the Herald names are a mix of ancient, Vorin and just the number for the herald. Also note that the Surge names have not been finalized or canonized and are subject to change.
