Okay, that, that freaks me out a bit. I got the message a while back that I was snapped, but since work decided to be crazy I didn't really read it past to make sure I hadn't broken a rule. When I finally did get a chance to read it, I took a quick second to send a message to Peng. Shortly there after I am the target of an attack. Before, the whole reading PMs seemed a bit too crazy for me, but now, I'm not so sure. I mean, that's just a little bit too large a coincidence.

Also, I discovered that the orange A with the four colored boxes next to the "size" drop down allows you to highlight a word and change it's color.

I agree that we should have more discussion outside of just casting our votes. I know that's part of the reason I've been so quiet (aside from this crazy work schedule I have this week). I feel like I've run the course of Cessie's role play at this point, and if I were to say something it would be pretty much the same information as before which is simply boring. Plus, the best way to catch someone is to force a conversation.

I can't say for sure, but part of it may be translating time. If it has to be translated into french, or even converted from american words and formats (ie "He said" instead of 'he said') it may take a little bit more time to get that change made, and then get the book printed. If it's super easy, they make the date close. If it's a little bit harder, the may take more time.

If this were a real life situation I would simply say that everyone stay in the same room, and if someone wants to go to the bathroom they go in groups of three (preferabily as assigned by our esteemed Mistborn). As it is... As soon as they returned from Digit's home, Cessies sank into a chair. She couldn't stop hearing the quiet "No" that Peng had said, as he killed the poor man. As the mists gathered outside, she dropped her head into her hands. What may have been a few minutes or a few hours later she heard the name of her Terrisman coming up. Looking over, she saw a group of people discussing who they suspected. She wanted to object -- after all, he had been with her home for as long as she could remember -- but she feared that doing so would draw more attention to herself, and at this point it seemed as though anyone who stood out would be killed. "Besides," she thought, dropping her head back into her hands, "How well do I really know the man? I've ignored him most of my life. He was just another of the servants, carrying out Mama or Pappa's orders."

Sorry, I don't have a ton of time to say anything before I run to work, but I did want to cast my vote really fast. Also, my font color issue days are over! Did you guys know there's a way to change the color in the editor? I'm going to go with Digits simply because if someone has to die, it does make sense for it to be a person who is inactive.

Cessie watched a Quillion walked out the door, trying to ignore the sinking feeling his words had caused. Glancing around her at the dejected faces, she whole heartedly wished she had never decided to leave her home. "If I live through this," she though, "I shall find that man my mother wanted me to marry, get it over with as quickly as possible, and never leave home again. I've had enough adventure for one life time." With that thought she raised a finger to request a drink. After all, if she was forced to stay, the least that she could do was dull the edge.

No, I know he can't say exactly what he is, but what about sending a message to someone else and requeting they say something? Or... I don't know. I just wish I knew if we have another coinshot, or else we're all sitting ducks at night.

Cessie watched the sun set as the crowd around her grew more and more possitive that Shimble was suspect. She couldn't justify killing an innocent man, but the facts that were presented to her painted the picture of a man who wasn't. As she cast her vote, she felt a feeling of satisfaction -- she had made an important decision on her own. That feeling instantly lead to horror as she, along with the others, discovered that she had just sent not only an innocent, but a friend, to his death. "What have I done?" she asked, covering her mouth in horror. Holy cow, I did not expect that. I really wish he had stepped up to say something more, or else that Peng has said something.

Holy cow! I sleep a bit and suddenly there's 2 whole pages to read through! You people are crazy! I have been swayed by the arguments here and retract my vote for no one and vote to kill Shimble. Oh Meta just posted. Did I make it?

I am going to add this to the "don't kill anyone" vote: If we start killing random people, it improves the chances of badface hitting a misting at the night, assuming he's going to just keep on attacking every night. If instead we leave people alive, it makes it less likely that he will hit a misting in a random attack. Wilson, thank you. I guess I should cast the vote officially, but at that point it wasn't official. Okay, this isn't working. Help, please?

As Cessie listened to the conversations going on around her, a type of calm came over her. She was sure that part of the problem was simply the shock of the situation, but that was a small part of her mind. "My good gental folk," she said, striding to the center of the room to make sure she had everyone's attention. She made sure to stand with the posture her mother had drilled into her, doing everything she had been taught to project an air of confidence. People naturally responded to those who were noble. "I see that there is a split in the opinions of our great crew, and I think the best way to assure that our esteemed leader is able to make a decision is to have all of the arguments already available to review when he returns. "Lord Listmaster," she said turning to look at Aether. "Would you be so kind as to create a list of the complaints lobbied against each person. If each of you will present your reasons for why you think they should be the one sacrified for the greater good, we will get a good list put together to help make things easier." "I only hope," she thought as she sat back down, "that I am not painting a giant target on my head for speaking up."

Cessie was pulled from her second night of drink aided sleep from the sound of the crowd around her. Groaning, she opened her eyes, and was instantly greeted with the message on the wall. Grabbing her head, she decided that she was much too sick to try and decide what it meant. "Water," she croaked, closing her eyes against the brightness of the sun. A glass of water was set down next to her, and she sipped at it slowly, trying to convince her stomach she didn't need to repeat her actions of the morning before. "Again with the killing?" She thought when she had finally caught the gist of the converstaion. "I had never realized how blood thursty people were. Personally, if I am going to be even partly responsible for someone's death, I want to have more evidence." No kill for now

As Cessie heard the news of poision, she couldn't help but think of her mother. One of her usual arguments when hearing that Cessie was going on an adventure was to cry "But you might be poisioned!" It appeared her mother was correct. As she watched the people around her panic, it took all of her self control (and years of training on how a lady should behave) to not break into tears. And everyone was speaking about an inquisitor. She didn't have the natural fear that many of those in the theiving crew did, since she had been raised her entire life around them. However, she also knew of other nobles who had been caught in the wrong building when a raid had been completed, and as a result had been killed by associasion. All she wanted was to use a little bit of her family's money and finally have an adventure without having to worry about her parents dragging her back into the life of boring endless balls and her father trying to figure out which man would give him the most money for her hand in marriage. Now though... She was pulled from her wollowing by a young man jumping up on a table and shouting in an almost unintelligable cant. It took her a moment before she realized she could actually understand him. One of her first forms of rebellion had been to learn to speak it when she was twelve and could still pass as a boy. "Quit for the loudness from the lungs with the pleasing warmth," she said, pointing to him. "Get with the cooling fix, speaking for the fun."

I like this plan, but I have a question: what happens if someone says they're a villager, and then turns out to be an unsnapped? Would they instantly get killed because they're suddenly appearing as something else?

Cessie felt a well of relief at the sight of Herwynbe at her elbow. Allowing him to lead her into one of the tables in the corner she sat down. "Is that what they looked like?" She asked quietly, eyes focused on her hands. Her clean, white hands. They were safe to look at. "Did Mama and Pappa have a spike in them when they were killed?" Forcing a smile to her face, she waved away the reply she was sure was going to be offered, and instead thought about the words her mother had always said "Be noble, even when it's the hardest. People look to you, as a chosen of the Lord Ruler himself to lead them." Right then, what everyone needed was to cool off and think with a level head before someone died needlessly. "Herwynbe, will you fetch me something to eat? Just some bread, nothing to harsh," She asked, casting a quick smile at the Terrisman. Turning her attention to the crowd around her, she tried to catch as many of the conversations as she could. She knew that she couldn't stand someone else dying, and when it came time to vote would chose to not to kill anyone.

Cessie's head was throbbing when she woke the next morning. She had, in an attempt to ignore her father's pet Terrisman, had more to drink than she intended. However, the sound from the room below her prevented her from sleeping long enough to get through the worst of the pain. Groaning, she got ready for the day. As she decended the stairs, the first thing to hit her was the smell. Grabbing a hankercheif she placed it over her mouth and nose to cover the stench. The next thing she noticed was the bloody body, and it took all of her will power to quell her rolling stomach. She had tried her entire life to rebell against her parents, but they had been able to keep her safe from the worst. And yet, in a small way she felt a thrill of excitement. Someone had been killed, and no one was around to shuffle her away, or tell her it wasn't right for a young lady of her station to see. Of course, as she averted her eyes, a part of wished that someone would do just that. She was suddenly glad for the amount of wine she had consumed. She was normally a light sleeper, and being in the rooms just above the Inn's main room, would have woken from the screams had her sleep not been aided. A bile rose in her throat again, and this time she simply ran for a corner of the room.

Cessie stepped into the small tavern room, and instantly had to resist the urge to roll her eyes. It was filled with a multitude of bodies in varrying states of unwash, their owners of an equal variety of ill repute. Stepping into the center of the room, she knew the attention she would draw, but found she didn't care. Her father would kill her when he- "But of course," she thought, sitting down next to a man who appear to be mostly sane and properly washed, "he won't be able to do a thing. any more, will he. Besides, I'm rich enough to pay off anyone who asks too many questions." Waving the Bartender over she requested a bottle of wine, and waited to see what would happen...

This seems like a lot of fun, especially if the last game is anything to go off of! Do you think I'd be too lost if I joined, even though I haven't read the Mistborn books? I have glanced through the wiki articles about them, so I have a basic idea of what's going on. (Plus, my big mouth sister loves to spoil pretty much anything she reads. Yeah, I already know how books one and two end.) If so, I'd like to be the noble woman Cessie. I am a noble woman who is bored with life. My entire life I have had everything hand to me, often literally on a silver platter. Everything has been decided by "the rules", however my parents recently died while trying to get to the capital, leaving me, as their only child, in charge. At this point I'm torn between breaking every single rule that has been controling my life, or playing it safe and doing exactly what I've always done.

I am torn between the moment when Dalinar trades his blade for the bridgemen, and at the end of Rithmatist when it turns out that the scribbler was the cop. I think I have to go towards Dalinar though. -
I buy that someone will die, but not one per book. Plus, I don't think Shallan would go on a killing spree. In Nightblood the guy who Vasher is talking about at the end will have created his own version of Nightblood, only it will be evil.
