    This sounds really interesting! The only question I have is: what is this power within, and how does a person obtain it? Is it hereditary, or more of a like "you are pure of heart and thus you receive the power within" kinda thing?

    Mabel stared at the House with contempt. It sure was fancy, wasn't it? Though perhaps fancy was too grand a word. Now, the house Mabel had worked at in her younger days... that was fancy. It had a huge overarching stoneway and a beautiful stained glass scene in each room... Shaking herself out of her reminiscing, Mabel eyed the room. There were several ornate chairs and fancy rugs in the room. Mabel snorted. That was the sign of true wealth. When you had nothing to spend your money on other than seven chairs that looked exactly the same. Besides, the chairs couldn't be all that good. Just because they looked fancy it didn't mean that they were comfy. Plus the food they had offered couldn't be all that good, especially if they had enough for all of them... Never mind all of that. Mabel was here, so she would try to make the best of things. Several of the other people who had congregated before the butler had let them in had already set off into the house. Mabel would join them. Gripping her cane, she set off deeper into the house.

    Sooooo... After three kinda decently depressing poems, I actually have a happy one! So, the background behind this is: I cut my hair. Yes, I know this doesn't sound super important, but all of a sudden I was getting compliments from people left and right, even people that I didn't even know knew me. Thus, this poem. I hope you enjoy!     YES YES YES I AGREE WHOLEHEARTEDLY I love Kaladin, in case you couldn't tell. He is seriously my favorite character ever. I would even go so far as to say I am Kaladin's number one fan (until someone proves me wrong lol) My adoration of him will be put in the spoiler box below for those who do not care. SA I would say right now my least favorite character is a three way tie between Jasnah, Navani, and Shallan. I don't hate any of them right now (though I definitely hated Shallan at the start). Navani just kinda drives me crazy. RoW Jasnah I feel like is just so unemotional and it annoys me more than I can explain. I can't really explain it- I think part of the problem is that we don't have enough POVs from her. Shallan... I just don't really get. RoW Anyway that's my input.

    Star stares at the bagel, slightly hesitant. "Thanks... I think." She sets it down and looks in the eyes of the kitten. "I shall name you Fluffy." Picking up the bagel, Star takes a tiny bite. It promptly screams.
