    "It's okay." Coil seems to fold in on herself a little. "I can deal with it. The worst part was having people that I thought I could trust drop me in an instant. "But," Coil says. "I'm doing better now. I'm helping Star and she's helping me. Plus, I found some new friends." She glances up at West. "There's nothing for you to feel sorry for. You didn't do anything wrong. In fact, you've been doing everything right." She quickly looks away.

    Guys I need advice. 

    So, I have this friend. Long story short he went to a different school this year, and we don't live close to each other, so texting was our form of communication. 

    But over the past year he's been giving these one word responses and not really saying anything, y'know? I talked to him about it, and he said he would try to give more of an effort. (This was like two weeks ago, for reference)

    But then yesterday, we were in the middle of the conversation, and then he just stopped replying. I know he saw it, because he left me on read. What do I do? I don't want to be one of those annoying spam texters, but I don't see him irl and I just... don't want to lose my friend. I don't really have a lot of those these days.

      I have a friend who lives in Japan, I can only talk to him over text, and because of school(plus time differences and sleep schedules) there’s two three hour time periods where we can chat back and forth.

      I before a month ago, the last time I texted him was after he left(about 9 months ago). We’re still friends, we’re chatting right now actually, and I get along with him just as much as when he was actually her(more even) 

      It’ll all work out

      I’d say give it a couple days. If he doesn’t respond on his own, ask if he was busy or something came up and he had to go quickly. If he’s alright in general. Give him time, but show you still care

    "Oh, um..." She takes a deep breath. "I wasn't exactly... well, known in Shadesmar. Usually Cultivationspren are all about seeing others, y'know? But I was the outcast. I was the reject. I wasn't hurt physically, but there were insults and spren talking behind my back and spren outrightly ignoring me. Even spren I thought were my friends. "So I left." Coil starts trembling, her shoulders shaking horribly as she recounts what happened. "I left Shadesmar to find someone worthy of a bond. Star found me, and here we are." "Hi!" Flicker chimes in. "Yeah, we don't know what happened, or what's going on right now, but they look so cute together! So it was worth it." Star welcomes Coder back to the vision.

    Yeah, I don't either. The extent of my screen time is mostly books or the Shard.

    Coil tilts her head. "I'm not so sure about that... You're amazing. You risked yourself to protect me. You figured out how to save us both when the Zipline broke. You're... just amazing." She smiles at him, everything else forgotten. "I'm really glad I met you."
