  1. Yes. It would be the best three hours in February
  2. There is no way that kid paid any attention during class. If I received that book in class, I would start reading right away and probably have the biggest smile on my face the whole time.
  3. Under the WoK spoiler tag why are Dalinar and Navini crossed out? Do they die? and if they do that should be a spoiler for WoR not WoK
  4. Wow. That is so obvious. I cannot believe I did not think of it either. It seems selling a shardblade is more reasonable than trying to steal Jasnah's Soulcaster
  5. So, if I preorder the book on amazon or barnes and nobles, will it come March 4th in the AM or am I better off you going to a bookstore to get it? EDIT: I live in the U.S. if that helps answering the question
  6. I going to skip to chapter 7, then read the rest of the book from there. If I tried to read the first 6 chapters I would just start skipping parts.
  7. If I preorder Words of Radiance from Amazon will it come March 4th? Also, the book is like $10 cheaper on google play. I have never used google play before, is it legit?
  8. I need to preoder this book ASAP
  9. Before I read Way of Kings I read that Shallan would have the flashbacks this book. During my read, I started disliking Shallan and definitely wanted Dalinar or someone else to have the flashbacks. But once she admitted killing her father and when I found out she had a Shardblade she is the one I want to read about the most. She went from being my least favorite character to one of my favorites really quick. I want to know why she killed her father (I assume he raped her) and I want to know the situation of the Shardblade she has. I also thought all of Kaladin's flashbacks, besides the battle when he won the Shardblade, were really boring.
  10. I thought Taln died at the end of the book
  11. I've read most of Brandon's books and I am wondering if reading the Alcatraz series is worth it. I know its a young adult series so I think I am too old for the series Any opinions/suggestions?
  12. Thanks, If I go back and do a reread, is there anything specific in any books i should look out for?
  13. So I joined these forums to look at updates for the Stormlight archive series. And people keep mentioning cosmere. Are all his books supposed to take place in the same world at different times or something? I have read most of Brandon's books (after he started WoT) I also know this is probably the most basic question.
  14. Still have never read a series that comes close to being as good as The Wheel of Time. The best characters in fantasy
  15. Thanks, it was a good read. Are there more of those excerpts from the next book? If there are, where would i find them?
  16. I just joined a few moments ago, so sorry if this theory has been posted before. I think the Parshendi are not bad at all. They probably have some prophecy and in order to fulfill it they needed to start a war with the Alethi in order to prepare the Alethi for the last desolation I think it was in one of Dalinars visions where they said the Alethi are supposed to be the warriors during the desolations. So in order to strengthen the Alethi or even unite them, the parshendi went to war with them in order for them to achieve these goals. The Parshendi do a lot of wierd things in battle, like show respect for the enemy and sing and salute Kaladin when he goes back to rescue Dalinar (i think). They just do not seem "barbaric"
