@anonuser288b22’s username appeared at the bottom of the screen. A minute or two later, a post loaded in from the user, quoting Deception. Horror isn’t necessarily edgy, it read. Robert W. Chamber’s The King In Yellow is a set of related horror short stories told in more of a style of the romantic period, with themes of insanity, edenic loss of innocence, and unspeakable evil. In many of the stories, however, there is some form of a happy ending.

It’s a warm summer night, and cooper can hear the silence singing over the violins of crickets and bass of bullfrogs. School is out for Ash, and the house has never been so quiet. Comforting, but quiet. At the bottom of the screen, the “now viewing” indicator, which only lists three users, Bellstrum, NotAfraid07, and [ @GG0z mind providing a username?], suddenly ticked up to four, though no username appeared. After a few seconds, it ticked back down to three. This wasn’t necessarily alarming, anonymous users or moderators technically didn’t have usernames and a moderator would most often use an anonymous account to scan the forum with a but more privacy. Still, several of the other users still found the anonymous accounts a little creepy. Best forget that happened.

Regular oneshot GM is grandmaster just general terminology for someone who runs an RP such as D&D i can make it since i sort of made the idea but you could 100% steal it i give permission

So the RP’ers are people talking on a fictional forum about the genre of horror in general. However the people develop the conversation develops their surroundings, getting creepier and creepier

What if it’s a forum and the only prompt is “discuss your favorite horror” and every once in a while people are given a prompt to look around the room and the GM describes what they see based on the discussion
